I truly feel like people just don’t realize how incredible of a vocalist Josh actually is! He’s a beast! I think he’s truly a dark horse to win. A ballad would make him a true front runner I think. His tone is so strong and soulful. Perfect mix of twang and soul! He controls that rasp so perfectly. His range is incredible as well. That last note sent chills down my spine! I NEED him to sing a ballad to show these people he means BUSINESS! It’s weird, I love country music, but I also feel like the best vocalist/performer should win and I don’t think some of the country winners have necessarily been the best in my opinion. However, Josh is one of those exceptions that comes along. There has been some and he’s definitely one of them.

That was a fantastic, energizing, and electrifying performance by Josh. His rocky, raspy voice sounded great. Excellent dynamics and phrasing. Also, when playing a guitar it's hard to be expressive, but Josh wasn't gonna let that be a handicap and did nicely well in that also.
