Happy for Smith, he sounds real humble to actually play for a team that can compete for a tittle, & he was a big reason the Rockets won this game, if he keeps this up by continuing to attack the paint & grab crucial rebounds the Rockets could make some real noise in the Playoffs.

Rockets just became a stacked team, probably with the most depth besides a healthy San Antonio. now they have James Harden-#1 scorer, solid defender, all around great player(MVP candidate) Dwight Howard-Elite defender, elite finisher, elite rebounder Patrick beverly-elite defender, great shooter, plays tough Trevor Ariza-elite defeder, dangerous shooter, Josh Smith-elite defender, elite rebounder, elite finisher Cory brewer-elite defender, great scorer Jason Terry-veteran mentality, clutch shot maker and dont forget we have terrence jones once he comes back from his injury.

James harden can't defend even if he got trained by the best defensive coaches. Just watch videos on him. He literally acts like a fucking ghost just walked passed him. He is so damn awful on defense.

I'm a Pistons fan and this guy never gets a break to be honest. Even today, pathetic pistons fans are blaming this guy for the sole reason they suck. I'm happy he's on a good team competing for a chip, he would have wasted his career in Detroit.

***** They haven't really beat anyone good though. If you take into consideration the injuries some of the teams they faced had n what not, they haven't really faced a solid team as of late. I'm a Piston's fan, and I'm glad we got rid of Josh Smith; however, I have to admit that I don't think him leaving has HELPED us as much as some other fans think. The issue wasn't honestly with Smith at all. The issue was our team relying so heavily on Smith to be our "carry". Smith is a great player, but I don't think he's the guy who can just put a whole team on his D night in and night out. He's one of those guys who needs some solid players to open the wings for him to drive the lane. Also, with that said, the Pistons have a bad ass interior team, so Josh Smith's style of play didn't fit in at all(Too many inside guys, so defenses could just clog the middle). Getting a new face gave us a bit of assistance, and our style of play has slightly changed -- giving other guys a chance to show their colors. Josh Smith is still an amazing player, and I think he fits the Rocket's scheme perfectly, so I think both teams won out overall. I just wish we could have got more for Josh Smith :/

he is a humble guy, he just wants to play for a team that will accept him. He needs a good coach to tell him not to shoot too many jumpers, accept a slight role change...and then he will be a great asset to the team.

Beverley Harden Ariza Smith Howard Brewer Motiejunas Terry Papanikoloau Canaan Dorsey Johnson Shved Jones Capela This team went from no depth at all to one with not enough minutes for all the depth. Canaan and Papanikoloau didn't even play last night. I feel bad for TJones though, JSmoove has pretty much taken his role in the rotation and he may be gone at the trade deadline if he ever gets healthy

Josh should have followed the KG route - be a lock down defender /rebounder and leave that 3-pt shot he would prob. have been a regular all-star He's def. got better athleticism than KG but the thing with him is prob. the heart and mentality

This video is terrible to watch as a Pistons fan. He thinks he is a 3 point shooter, but he isn't. He decides to take them when ever he feels so, and therefore has one of the worst 3 point percentages in the NBA. He is a lazy ball hogging and arrogant player who ruined the beginning of the pistons 2014-2015 season, and made us pay him a brick load of money. So quit bragging about "J-smoove". Soon you will see how terrible he is rockets fans...

While this is true, he had no choice really... Our team was pretty terrible, and I can understand why a talented player like Josh Smith would just get frustrated and attempt to do EVERYTHING himself. I don't hate him tbh. I just think we need to make some moves. At the moment, there's really no way for us to ever get a ring lol. We aren't making the plays to pick up free agents during the off season, and even when we do try, the players don't want to come to our team due to our shitty records as of late. We win a bit too many for us to pick up solid talent in the draft. Idk. I just feel like we're hoarding some real talent inside from the rest of the league. We're just that team who keeps a talented guy or two from joining an already solid team and making them god tier lol.

Here's a secret, CroffStudios. J-Smoove was dogging it on purpose. Why do you think he was jacking up 3pt shots? He was checked out mentally. Rockets are getting a championship hungry J-Smoove who believes he can win on that Rockets team.
