How the oblivion persuasion minigame works: Each of the four options will have four expressions. Angry, miffed, pleased, and very pleased. You also have the rotating shapes that change every time. You want to optimize it so the big semicircle is on the happy options and the smaller semicircles are on miffed and angry. Miffed and angry will both decrease your relation with them, angry will do it more. Pleased and very pleased will do the same thing, but very pleased will do it more. Once you fiddle with it you can do it pretty quickly but it takes time.

It's a shame the maid never got to build Raven Rock. Maybe one day she will be resurrected. Since she was defeated while in werewolf form, perhaps she can shed that form and leave it behind forever, reviving as an Argonian once again.

here's why the guard took your glass sword: Firstly, whoever told you dropping a stolen item and picking it up again purges the the stolen tag is wrong. There's no way to cleanse a stolen item of its tag. Worse, due to a programming error if you steal an item the game automatically marks all items you acquire of the same type as being stolen even if they aren't. You stole a glass sword from the guy in ghostgate all the way back at the beginning so the game has marked all glass swords in your game as being stolen. It's stupid but its why its really important to NEVER get caught doing a crime unless absolutely necessary or you can account for all the items you've stolen.

And if you do steal anything, you should enchant it as that DOES get rid of the stolen flag
@ALTNINETHREESEVEN7 ай бұрын
Sir, just enchant the Daedric armor to either increase your strength (for carry weight) or increase your athletics/jump. This will solve your super jump problems while wearing it. It also works best if yo enchant it as a range of 1-X and just reequip it until you get the max or close ot it.

If you do there are some fantastic mods. One is climbing tools. Scaling up castle walls is great. Chugging a fatigue potion lock picking a window at midnight. If I remember correctly anywhere there is a cell associated with a window you can open it. Some are locked and trapped, it's great. Another is the backstab mod. It takes into account how long you're trailing a target and how long you keep your blade cocked for massive crits. And finally, the mod that gives you other blocking options like parrying blades. They don't obscure your view and work better with your attributes like acrobatics and athleticism.

You joke about the wokeists but I seriously doubt modern N'wahs would allow for a game with as much racial tension as Morrowind to be made these days - that's probably more a corporate thing than a woke thing but I do wonder whether the Imperial Dogs of the gaming press and the professionally offended would try to burn the game in the public eye...and if that would just Streisand it right proper. I was just talking about this with a friend last night coincidentally.

Bg3 can have near-morrowind racism levels if you play a drow something funny about the seemingly unbreakable, multiversal link between dark elves and racism, no matter the setting they're almost always racist, and almost always subject to racism, even in universes with little other racism
@deesevrin85707 ай бұрын
@@obamabiden Interesting. My deep gnome playthrough had nothing of the sort, I'll have to check that out on my next run. There is a bit of a difference I think when the race in question is historically literally evil in the setting as opposed to Morrowind's more grounded approach but them themes are them themes. Dark elves are usually depicted as very scary and alien in one way or another and are often following a very different moral code than the races that make up the general population of any given setting. When they're not depicted as antagonists the reason for that depiction is often to explore predjudice thanks to the very easy set-up their common depictions provide. I think that's a good part of that universal link you brought up - the rest being the basic symbolism of light = good VS dark = evil, the same correlation existing in their sharp features VS rounded common features, living underground vs surface dwellers, etc. In other words, they're readymade villains so no matter what sort of story your going to tell with them that's got to be your starting point.
