She was a Miss Aloha Hula contestant this year. You can usually tell by how much they move around the stage area and their facial expressions -- Not just dancing in line in a hālau or on a small stage with a musician.

Mahalo for your comments, Darius. Although I enjoy sharing the music videos, It often takes me a long time to check on the titles of new songs or hula, especially in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi with correct spelling (I now use the Hawaiian keyboard), and when the artist doesnʻt announce it, I start with what I hear in the lyrics. I actually have Joshʻs CD, so I should have caught "Kuʻu Leo Aloha". I appreciate it when you or anyone else catches mistakes or can offer me the correct info. (I didnʻt go to Kona Nui Nights tonight because I went to see Uncle Willie K at the Honolulu Zoo! - Stay tuned)
