For me Bonnie Keen and "I will go on" has and still provides comfort to me after my wife died. Is the purpose of a video to create a story or just show the singer on stage performing. With "Would You Go With Me," should the video be about a trip from one point to another? .That is kind of boring for a video about a love song, Or should it be about a journey through life? What is the first emotion for you from the question would you go with me? There are three phrases in the lyrics that an be interpreted as through life. The weakest of the three "trip was over," is a stretch to apply to life but not totally out of the question. "Edge of the sea," can be a physical location but there are love songs about the sea. "Ends of a dream?" Is that waking up or the end of life? As I read the lyrics, and I have thoroughly , this is an emotional journey. From friends to lovers and married perhaps? In that case why not from childhood sweethearts to a long life together and I know I am reading between the lines. The video is certainly based on artistic interpretation. I wasn't thinking about a reunion in heaven, just how he disposed of ashes - presumably of his late wife.
