Thanks! That's Toontrack's Superior Drummer being crushed through Waves' OneKnob Driver (a dead simple but awesome sounding crunchifier). The DAW software is Reaper. All of it is paid software on Windows; unfortunately, there's nothing in the FOSS world that comes close.

Preciosa instrumental!! Cada vez tu música tiene más riqueza, más complejidad, aunque tus solos de guitarra siguen poniendo la piel de gallina. Sólo un pequeño "pero": yo habría esperado al minuto para incluir los ritmos de percusión del software, el sonido del hi hat al principio es muy evidente y hace que la melodía pierda algo de protagonismo...pero luego todo se funde perfectamente. Answering the question: It depends on my mood. Sometimes I hear The Shins, Cramberries, Damien Rice, Muse, Gary Jules, REM, Counting Crows (and much more) and sometimes I want to remember the good old days when my pa and I sang around my piano and I listen The Beatles, Dire Straits, Queen, Janis Joplin, Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, songs of "Hair" (and much more too)... :_)
