It is certainly good to hear that your health is on the improve. What a “bush bashing” session that was Josh. No one could ever question your commitment to accessing new areas and challenges. Wishing you and yours a happy, safe and merry Christmas Josh and a wonderful new year. Thanks for sharing some of your fishing experiences with us over the year and I am sure there are many more to come.

Hey josh i find when fishing for Australian bass you need to get to the river early in the morning when the sun is just coming up or go late in the afternoon the bass bite better when its almost dark ive been doing alot of bass fishing we go around 4pm and fish through to 12am we have been getting bass up to 55 cms when its late at night we have been using curling tail grubs in motor oil colour .its very hard to get a bass on top water lures when the sun is up high you have to wait until sun down for top water

Will be sure to go back and do a early morning session. I know fishing topwater in the middle of the day isn’t that effective compared to morning or arvo😅 Just couldn’t help chucking it around as the lure swims so damn good hah

Cool spot. Even better that you caught something. Refreshing change. Fresh fishing is a different world. I've never fished salt. Simple can be best. Try a 5 inch senko weightless with a 4 or 5/0 hook. Fun catching bass that way and you don't even have to do much alot of the time they take it on the fall.

Hey joshy! I’ve never really got into the bass fishing, but I have done it a bit. Up in here in the Hervey Bay region we have got the Mary river and when it turns freshwater it is prime bass country. I love the Daiwa zillion, I find it is really reel for jacks. Cheers mate and merry Christmas!

Hey Josh big fan of your work and bass fishing. What area do you shoot your videos I do most of my bass fishing in the Barrington and Gloucester region. Recently I caught a 42.5 cm bass which is a new pb for me. i all so go sand flat, jetty, weed edge and sea fishing around Laurieton. Just wondering the area because the rivers look nice. Thanks for another vid mate don't tell me any of your secret spots that I am sure you have plenty of but i would love to know the area or river so i can pursue my fishing adventures to more places.

Hey mate that Miller, when you say "American model" is that like an American made one or are they all still made in China except the true customs? (like I use to get made 10+ years ago) If Ian still does that. great little vid. I love bass fishing, great fun and can be a challenge to find spots they are hiding in or moving through after breeding.
