I love their aesthetic. Usually always much easier to wear than more crazy and colorful shoes which will probably just end up sitting on your shelf.

I just find it funny when people are appalled when a jjjjound collab show looks too “GR”. When that’s literally been JJJJound’s theme for a long time now.

Since these look so much like a GR release I went ahead and bought them from the ASICS site. Cheaper, no customs to pay, free shipping and more colors to choose from. Jjjound is good for ideas but as with all their collabs it is usually just better to just get them directly from the original shoe manufacturer website rather than pay a premium for the jjjound tag. I think all these collaborations drive more traffic to the original NB, Reebok, Asics, etc. shoes which was probably the whole point.

Oh, and, you can say the same about any brand having models that are very similar. You already made a video about the confusing Adidas lineup sometime back. New Balance models also look very similar, even Nike/Jordan have very similar-looking models, and even more so if you include the models they send to the low-cost retailers.

I’m actually a big fan of most of Jjjjound’s collabs, but decided to pass on these. Don’t really like the highlighter yellow accent, and I prefer their earth-toned collabs.

These are simple but just too basic to seem like a collab. Jjjjound are taking the piss with collabs now - they are trolling with collabs now. I like the sneakers yet it might have just as well have been a gr. no wheel reinvented by Jjjjound - as the product is the collab was not necessary yet majority will buy for the name. NB Action Bronson does change something , so also does Kiko x ASICS which you brought to my attention previously. I actually like the gt2160 above the clouds White Pure Silver plus I think their collabs seem quite nicer

I copped these colorway then i sold it on stock x for a good price right after i was able to grabbed the inverted blue pair which got us all by surprise .

The highlighter yellow throws it off and doesn’t feel like jjjjound. The inverted pair with the black and blue is way better than these and even the all black pair, unfortunately it’s on the over saturated 2160 which every collaboration with asics seems to be on lately and honestly I find this model to be pretty uncomfortable and not very boring looking. jjjjound shouldve done another Kayano 14 or gone with the extremely comfortable 1130 or gel nyc.
