On MPIQ you also forget just how obnoxious some people get by hitting the block the first second they can to answer even if they don't know the question, inevitably stalling the game to the point of making it a draw. I know you have the editors note, but that's more for why the questions never finish, not why the questions were even halfway said.

I hate when people do that. I know you want to end the game ASAP, trust me, but that is NOT how you end it ASAP. That is how you get so many questions the game itself says "fuck it" & end the minigame.

the most i remember from mario party DS is constantly replaying the bosses and listening to the soundtrack while playing adventure quest worlds. i always chose the same characters for each boss as well

Once I figured out the scale of top screen to bottom screen, Trace Cadets became one of my favorite non-boss minigames in DS. Although I can see why people would like that one. My least favorite would probably be Short Fuse. Neat concept with getting the fuse as close as possible to blow up the next guy, but the amount of mic use in such a quick burst leaves me too light headed afterwards.

Major respect points for Dungeon Duos as number one. You just made my day. Back when I played Mario Party 4 with my brother and cousins, this was my favorite thing. I loved all the ways you could expedite things by working together, like pumping the turnstile on both sides to get the second person across faster.

I bet I'm the only person who likes Bash'n'cash. I know it's unfair, but I just find it extremely funny seeing the player who got Bowser stress out over their money. As sadistic as that may be. On a side note, most of the 1v3 mini games from the first Mario party favor the 1 player heavily (with coin shower flower coming to mind immediately). That doesn't really excuse the cruel unfairness of Bash'n'cash, but I guess it doesn't bother me that much because the 3 players normally get put at such a disadvantage during the 1v3 mini games. ATTENTION: Everything stated in this comment is not applicable if thedippyspoon gets put in the Bowser outfit for the mini game "Bash'n'cash" Anyways, great video Josh! 👍

I played with Expert CPUs all the time in Mario Party DS, and I had my sibling play with me from time to time on the game. From what I’ve learned, you have to *really* know how to play Soil Toil in order to efficiently play it. Once you do, it isn’t bad as long as you can communicate with your teammate or learn the CPU’s efforts on the driving. It is still annoying, though, especially if you end up going backwards.

Here's something interesting about Running of the Bulb: there can only be a maximum of 4 Boos at a time, whether they be chasing or possessing. If the player holding the bulb is the only one left, they can effectively run circles around said Boos and make it to the end that way. I should know, because I have been said player once. Now if only I could have known in advance to record that...
