This could have been, and should have been, the best entry in the Silent Hill franchise. If the teaser is anything to go by, it would have revived the Silent Hill franchise to the public again it would give Konami way more money than those damn slot machines, but nooooooo..... they had to can it because of their personal gripes with Kojima... THANKS KONAMI!! >:(

even capcom, which left people begging for a new resident evil and devil may cry brought BOTH back and they were well received to the point capcom made another game and has plans for a 9th one, dmc5 did well but the only issue is where to take the story, konami dropped the ball HARD by killing this game off, and then it's just been bad moves ever since

As weird as it is to say, I’m actually very grateful for Konami’s stupidity. Because the sheer fact that they put in an update for PT that physically deletes it from your consul showed exactly what ANY video game company could do to games that you buy digitally. Essentially through their pettiness, they showed the true fragility of digital only games.

Part of me wants to believe Kojima hid the social security numbers and personal information of all the Konami execs in P.T.'s code just to spite them. Because that is the only justifiable reason I can think of that would explain Konami erasing this game from existence. 😡
