I quarter my deer in the woods and pack them out, I hunt mountainous terrain and WMA here in Alabama and sometimes have a long journey back to the truck, in my pack I’ve got a rope ratchet for getting them off the ground to skin, a large condor bush crafting knife for chopping limbs and small trees, koa Yukon belt knife for skinning and gutting, an outdoor edge onyx for deboning, 15 paracorded meat hooks so I can cool the meat down before packing, i also carry rubber gloves and wipes

The Ridgeback is getting made with the Jesus wood :) I'd carry fewer replacement blades and just carry that Work Sharp / Benchmade Field sharpener. Strop those replaceable blades and they are back to shave sharp. I use it for my utility knives all the time.

I carry a light pack that has a freezer ziploc bag with a Gerber Exo-Mod knife sharpened so that it shaves hair off my arm, my deer tag and license, 50’ of paracord for whatever, Bic lighter to build small fire if dressing in winter to warm hands if necessary, additional freezer ziplock for tenderloins, exam gloves, headlamp and water to drink and a drag harness and rope to haul deer out. In my car I have a 130’ old climbing rope and necessary pulleys and cords for two prussiks to set up a “Z drag” if I have to haul the deer up a steep ravine. Not a fan of folding knives for gutting fish or game. Too hard to clean blood out of all the moving parts. To each his own though.
