How I became a Scuba Diver in under 5 days! 🤯| Scuba Diving in Koh Tao, Thailand!

Over the past few months, I’ve been exploring some of the most interesting hobbies in the world! First skydiving, then caving, and now diving!
Thailand is globally renowned for having some of the best diving sites in the world, all accessible at some of the most affordable rates! When the guys at La Bombona Diving in Koh Tao reached out, I knew I had to give it a shot!
The process was surprisingly simple! In about 5 days, I received 2 levels of diving certifications, spent HOURS underwater, and even got to swim with whale sharks!

I did my 20m Open Water certification in the Red Sea. If anybody is considering it, I would highly recommend it. I got to see and swim with a turtle (my favourite animal) on my first open water dive, it was phenomenal.

Maybe I’ll try it in the Philippines because I have Filipino friends who recommended me to do Scuba Diving lessons in Asia because it’s cheaper than here in Canada because it’s expensive

this is kind of different then the process for padi ow cert. you generally would complete the online e-learning after you complete you’d have a confined water dive in a pool learning skills & then 2 open water dive doing some of the skills you learned in confined water dive 1 . Then you repeat the process another day but this time completing slightly more difficult challenges . so after e learning completion , & a total of 6 dives (2 confined , 4 open water) you’d be certified. i was able to complete mine in 2 days thankfully
