This was an absolute help! Every book seems to approach this with vague statements and stating that some equations are 'obvious' which is not the case! Thanks.

absolutely wild that this is free, i'm currently watching the whole thing and intend to write my own solver to use for a project of mine (obviously there are better solvers out there but its a learning experience for me).

Thank you so much for these video lessons. Been struggling with my online aero class, having this as a reinforcement for the course material has been life saving.

Amazing timing on this video!! I've been playing disc golf more and recently watched a video on the advanced physics on the flight of discs. You would love the sport if you don't play already!

I'm extremely average at throwing a frisbee, so I feel like I wouldn't be very good at disc golf. But I've always wanted to give it a shot!

JoshTheEngineer yes, me either, I mostly use it as walking exercise. The physics is interesting with all the different types of discs. Putter vs driver etc.

JoshTheEngineer Hey Josh, this just came out on a popular disc golf site regarding the physics of disc flight. You might like it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bn_WoJtvjbWmr6c

In a previous video you mentioned a book by Anderson. Is that Computational Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer? The reference you gave didnt match mine but I've got an old edition so may just be that.

I know you're aerodynamic inclined but could you please do a series on hydrodynamic panel method? It would help alot
