My grandpa used to call me every time this was on the radio. My brother made him a CD for his truck with this on it. Grandpa always loved his voice because he could hear it so clearly. This video reminds me so much of my grandparents love. I inherited his truck when he passed away a couple weeks ago. The CD is still sitting in the truck's player exactly as he left. The stuff in this song isn't even all that low. Eb2 is the lowest he goes here, but in "Firecracker" he reaches a few notes lower to a B1, and I believe he can reach a G1 in full or mixed voice. The stuff you're hearing that he rattles the venue with is likely in the lower second octave on the piano.

Condolences to you and know that your love is still watching over you. I lost my husband nearly 7mths ago. I no longer listen to music unless its playing somewhere in a store or a busker on the street, but my husband still sends special songs at certain times. I'd not heard this particular song and country music wasn't ever my thing, but i took my elderly dad on a road trip and heard this song where we had lunch. I wrote the chorus down so i could search for the song and i couldn't believe how the video clip ended. We still have my husband's ashes to scatter and i know our loved ones will come for us one day and ask if we will go with them ❤

For the first year after my Steve passed, this song played so many times when I needed to hear it. I would start the car in the morning and it would play on the radio within seconds. I remember 1 time, I was at the lake sitting in my car and sobbing, missing him. I started the car to leave, and again within seconds, our song came on. It was amazing!💗 Thank you Josh!

Josh Turner has the best male voice I've ever heard in my life of 56 years. It speaks to and resonates within my soul. I can easily listen to one of his many songs of his on constant repeat for ages! I'm a sad case, lol. I also happen to believe that he is a true gentleman and a very caring, generous person who is a fine example of manhood. If all men behaved like him, the world would be a mega multi million times happier than it currently is. My idea of personal auditory heaven, would be to live as an invisible speck (with ears) and sit on his shoulder, so that I could hear his voice every minute of the day (not including any personal content with his wife) then I would be the happiest being on earth and, when it's over, I'll mix in with the dirt on the ground and no longer exist. It would suit me fine. (I know things like this can never happen and I don't admire men in general much, but I'd make an exception just this once.) Unlike Josh, I'm not a believer in any church based religion, I have my own beliefs, but he is a credit to his parents, god and religion. If all of Christianity had been more full of people like Josh, I suspect there would have been very few religious wars or intolerance. I may be entirely wrong, but this is MY personal judgement of his goodness.
