The writers of the Koran were a priest and a Jewish rabbi -- they were forced under threat of death to create Muhammad's book as he dictated. That is why there is a mix of Christian and Jewish themes in the book, along with demonic themes that evil spirits rehearsed in the ears of Muhammad. But clearly, to those who have understanding, you can see how the priest and rabbi secretly wrote details into the Koran to mock Muslims. That is why there were so many conflicting passages in the Koran throughout time, and eventually, a finalized version had to be agreed upon, while the conflicting verses were called Satanic.

what version of the bible do you two read from? also, you two are the first people i've seen make the connection between "the earth" representing jewish lineage.....ishmael is also a descendent of abraham....is there something that would discount ishmaelites from being candidates of the beast/ false prophet?

We jump around from Bible versions to that which clearly dictates the original text. Some version we use frequently are NKJV, NIV and Tree of Life. The descendants of Ishmael, the Arab people, are described later in the Bible as goy (the nations). Ishmael was not the son of promise, therefore, his lineage branched out even though his father was also Abraham. Joshua and Caleb

Interesting.... when I look at those scriptures I come to the conclusion that the false prophet will be one of the Popes, and the Antichrist will be a ethnic mix with Dan. The key idea for me is that the Antichrist is let into the Temple, so he must be Jewish. The tribal land of Dan is also in the area of Assyria. The false prophet is the religious leader of the harlot system of the world. The Pope already has this position, and they have a consistent track record of setting up statues for worship... not to mention all the false miracles.

Well, Revelation is a harder book to fully grasp. Getting prophecy RIGHT is not a chapter of God's litmus test. Get Romans 5.9 right...you are good. Also, I Thessalonians 1.10 and 5.9. Then, Revelation 3.10. Four declarative statements that we should all agree on. Revelation is "signified" or communicated through signs, Revelation 1.1. Interesting enough, after chapters 2-3 the church is basically not mention (only in passing). So, Revelation 1.19 is the key verse. The Beast and False Prophet are some bad guys that show up 3.5 years into Daniel's 70th week. They become powerful during Jacob's Trouble. Hope: we have it, Titus 2.13.

I have never heard that the antichrist is the false prophet. I thought that people would worship the beast and take his mark, therefore the beast is the antichrist.

The Beast is never referred to as the Antichrist anywhere in scripture. He's called the Assyrian, the Beast, the Son of Perdition, the King who exalts himself, the Little Horn, the Ruler to come. "The Antichrist" as a specific person is only referenced in 1 John 2:18. Many people throughout history have assumed that the Beast would pose as the Messiah to the Jewish people, this is not the case; he will undoubtedly be a Gentile. Thus when John was referring to someone who would pose as Messiah to his people (in 1 John), he most probably was referring to this False Prophet. Time will tell. Blessings! Joshua and Caleb

The antichrist is referred to as the Asseryan, the son of perdition, the little horn, son of perdition, deceiver, accuser as well as once saying antichrist. Satan is the dragon and he gives power to 1st beast from the sea (AC as well as the 2nd beast (false prophet)

You guys have missed it. Like every other teacher, prophecy expert. There are TWO individuals, as I see it, in the prophecy of Genesis 49:17. Both the Beast and False Prophet of Revelation 13. Dan, the Leviathan of Job, is the "serpent" biter of the horse's heels -in modern language he sabotage's (messes with) the wheels on a car or truck. The second person, the Rider on the horse, is your False Prophet, the Behemoth of Job. Look at Zechariah 11 where it gives the physical description of the False Prophet - Shepherd (worthless or IDOL). This is how, I think he gets disabled in Zechariah 11. In keeping with the 2nd Beast of Rev. 13. It is not the head wound the first Beast receives. He is not the Judge (Antichrist) in Genesis 49. The reference to the Man of Sin, Lawless One, first Beast coming from the waters-nations is GEOGRAPHICAL (as you noted an Assyrian) He pops out as a Little Horn-from a To Be Little Nation or it say's in Moses's prophecy at Deuteronomy 33:22, Bashan area, Assyria. The Lion's whelp (little weak young lion) detonation helps in the interpretation. He is from Dan, so he is Jewish! The False Prophet then, is Manifested in Israel. I would think Jewish but don't know for sure. Again, I would say the coming from the sea and land (earth-Israel) is a geographical not biological detonation. Got it? Love to you guys, Ken again

The 144,000 sealed Jews are not 'witnesses'. Nowhere do we read they are evangelists. A close study of Revelation shows they are sealed toward the very end of the tribulation, right before Yeshua returns. Those in Christ are the very elect, we will be here on the earth. The rapture comes _after_ the resurrection which takes place when Yeshua returns. He will give relief to US who are afflicted and afflict those who are afflicting us...when He comes...on the Day of the Lord per 2 Thessalonians 1 and 2. God bless and Maranatha!
