They were sweeter. I speak as someone of a similar age. It's why I am disliking all these reboots. Feels like HOLLYWOOD : "Run out of good story ideas and I am bored. Why don't we just remake the great shows from 20yrs ago but with different actors, producers, The writing shouldn't be too hard because we just gotta update the slang..." It's impossible to really capture the magic of shows then because it was made within a certain suspended time bubble but a huger historical culture context of a slightly more innocent times. Oh I sound like Dawson. Gotta go!

I was a teenager myself when Dawson's Creek came out but never got to watch a single episode of it back then coz it wasn't on any channel in my country. But thanks to Netflix, I'm finally getting to watch it in my..ahem...30s! 😝 And boy, am I falling all over in love again with Joshua... Had watched his other movies when I was younger and he was certainly one of my celebrity crushes 😊
