Joshua Radin is the best folk singer I've known so far, All of his song has really a content that will seal deep inside. Brand New day song is one of the best song he sung. Evey time i heard this song i really tears, as we known all of us has a past doesn't matter if is it bad or good. Always think Joshua song that there is always a Brand New Day. Thank Josh for singing this song u make my life colorful after all. Cheers.

I was tears when i was hear this song, not because of the video but its because of the song, It true there is always a Brand New Day, I always fail on my life, no body's love me except God , My inspiration is my novel although i know no one would love to read, Yes i use to write an inspirational noel some are true story based on real happenings. Than Josh your song was great.

The video is beautiful actually and suits the song perfectly. The combination gives it much more depth than the lyrics alone. All these bad things keep happening to him but he doesn't let that change his positive attitude towards life. Most people would be depressed and say, "today sucks, could life get any worse?!" But not Joshua, he keeps saying with a smile on his face, "it's a brand new day and I know I'll be okay". He's appreciative that he's even alive and understands that you can't pick yourself up if life doesn't knock you down a few times. He's not promoting violence but acknowledging that it (unfortunately) exists in life. Instead of allowing all the negativity to consume him he is staying strong with his positive outlook. The love in his soul is not being darkened by all the hate that surrounds him.
