I've only recently listened to this song again. It's been a few months since the last time, and it's still hard. My wife and I got pregnant... It was the single happiest time of my life. Then we lost our baby. I had listened to this song dozens of not hundreds of times. It made me think of my child to be. It made me think of the future. When we lost Myrtle this song just made me want to cry and to rage and to tear at myself. It still hurts, but the pain has subsided a bit from then. It still comes around, but it's a dull pain now. I love you Myrtle, and on your birthday we'll celebrate and I'll listen to this song again. 12/18/2019 would have been your birthday, and it will forever be a date that stays with me. I love you Darlin.

Idk you but I’d like to extend my apologies to you and your wife. I lost a son at birth. He was perfect. You’d never wish losing a child on anyone. Not ever. It was 21 years ago this year on January 28. And even though that’s been a long time ago now I find solace in knowing that I’m 21 years closer to seeing him again. 6 years later his father died unexpectedly in a car crash so I’ve totally learned death does not discriminate and I’ve done my best as a mother and a nurse to remember not to waste my pain and share my grief with others bc it does help for a moment. We are never alone. I’ve written a book but I cannot seem to want to publish it yet. It deals with loss and every time I read others experiencing such great loss I reconsider bc all the books I’ve read over the years, when I finally felt I could, weren’t what I’d wished to read. Truly only God got me through the roughest of times. So I pray He comforts you and your wife like only He can. Maybe you’ve already been blessed with another by now, who knows. But either way Psalm 34:18 God is close to the broken hearted and rescues those whose spirits are crushed. He def has done that for my life over the years. And I pray you both find those moments of His peace too...✝️💜☝🏼

It's been a few months of hell and healing after listening to this song for the first time ever. Found it in my husband's yt search history one day and immediately knew he was having an affair. That was the same night I was hospitalized. In the thick of healing, everyone kept telling me I didn't have proof and he kept denying infidelity. It's only been a few weeks since I found out the truth. I spoke to his mistress and she told me everything. Some songs are so beautiful, yet also triggering. It saddens me that this beautiful song has now become a dark core memory of my past.
