Nibiru is 100% a card that Maliss simply isn't able to play AROUND. However, with some finessing, it CAN still strongly play THROUGH Nibiru on a decent hand. Off the top the first line I can think of opens Mouse, send Rabbit to special and set TB-11, Splash Mage to summon Mouse (keeping 11 live), go straight for White Binder banishing Mouse to special it, White Binder eff to set TB-06. from here you'd attempt to enter EP and force the Nib. If they DO Nib, you'd chain 11 by banishing Binder to summon Cheshire. White Binder eff to special itself, make Firewall and pass. Then as soon as you're opponent tries to DO anything you activate 06 to co-link Binder and Firewall, Binder banishes all three Maliss monsters to special them all and set 07. If you DON'T get hit by the rock, you still don't care too much if Binder dies because of 06. Just have to wait for Mouse to hit grave as well for the biggest impact. But, unfortunately, this line and the deck in general is pretty weak into more than like 2 maybe 3 interactions, especially if one of them is Nib. It's a powerful deck but it'll take a LOT of practice for a Pilot to play it well enough to see major success. The deck demands a much deeper level of understanding to maximize its potential and REALLY tries to punish you for not making the most of the resources it provides.

New D/D cards are really good. Except for the level 5. Count serveyor is an obvious 3 of. Scale serveyor lets you remove 3 to 4 bricks in exchange for an ok extender. It changes the 1 card combos to not be bricky basically! Count servey plus swirl also is a hand trap lock with 0 king, then any starter is full combo!

@grantswallow1256 High King Caesar, Machinex with 3+ steals are on every enboard. Normally you also get headhunt and/or Siegfried. It you draw engraver you end on double Caesar. Or if you play full armored xyz and give up 3 ED space you can turnskip with kali yuga using several 2 or 3 card combos.

@grantswallow1256 basically, you wanna turbo out zero king on summon 2 to lock out hand traps. The following 2 card combos achieve this by summon 2 or 3: Throne + zero Copernicus + zero Swirl + count serveyor Squirmer + Copernicus/kepler/gate Foolish burial + copernicus/kepler/throne/gate After that all you need is another starter/extender and you full combo. Fiendsmith is also good. I recommend playing 3 sanct and 3 engraver, and playing about 40 cards. Only needed scales are Thomas, Orthros, and Ragnarok Only other brick needed is necro slime. You can also play Typhon or lamia, but they don't make a big difference. Especially lamia, she's negligent. Scale serveyor replaces Cerberus and Patent. You also now have the flexibility to not need Zero king/lamia/vice typhon. I recommend keeping zero king though. The other option is kali yuga turbo, which requires 3 additional cards. Vice King Requiem, which I recommend siding anyway, Vice Typhon, and Full Armored XYZ. As well as Armor Fortress, cross sheep, and kali yuga in the ED.

1:02:29 since I haven't played TCG in a while, and all my recent Yugioh is MD, seeing this deck is kinda wild, because I'm used to Kashtira Fenrir and Unicorn at 1 and Wraithsoth at 1. Do you think if the TCG took that route, would this deck "die"? Or, would you find another engine (there was a variant that was, similar to this deck except he used Magical Musket instead of Kashtira.)

I feel not good about this deck, but i couldn't put my finger on why (besides "booh >50% handtraps"), but "This deck is a symptom of snake eyes and yubel" Put's it pretty well for me Also it looks like hell to play against as a rouge deck, but that's not that relevant probably, bc so are snakes and the others

are you talking about FS kash? i mean the deck inherently punishes hand trap decks and sucks a bit vs high engine decks that can push through a lot of handtraps

if they want to ban fiendsmith, just ban moon of the closed heaven. Fiendsmith is actually a fun archetype, but the accessibility with moon makes it strong.

Vs was easily one of the best decks for this format i lost like 3 games maybe and those were mostly to my own impatience since you couldnt lose points. Tbf for the average player playing it without rock is hard but if you know what you are doing you can get around that pretty easily

I played something very similar to this but i used thunder dragons and chaos zone. best time ive had in this game in a long time. playing old school style chaos beatdown.

I use pretty much what you’re saying on the ladder and it’s my favorite deck. Im still messing with the extra deck. Only problem is you sometimes start with an unplayable hand with nothing in the graveyard
