man paleo is slowly turning into my favorite deck, i added some lab cards as well for some variety but it absolutely demolishes tenpai (and just about anyone else that doesn't have spell / backrow removal)

The fact that Gemini monsters only count as Normal Monsters when on the field(and WITHOUT their often mediocre Gemini effects active), honestly hurts them a ton when you consider all the stunts Normal Monsters can pull(especially ones associated with specific Spell/Traps/Ritual & Extra Deck Monsters).

@@MarioLopez-xs3vc Treating Gemini monsters as non-Effect monsters everywhere except the field after Gemini summon + all other non-effect monsters being treated as Normal monsters thus unifying all 3 parts of generic support would still not be enough to make them meta. I honestly don't know why a single gimmick had to be fragmented so much it becomes unplayable. I hope with further Primite support we also get a rule change in April 2025 similar to Master Rule Revision 2020 to help Normal/Gemini decks just like how the Trap/Monsters were updated to not take 2 zones.

@4:33:15 when you have stovie and chandra in hand like that always use chandra 1st. When they recycle after using Big Welcome you can use stovie effect on field to set up the field card or a small welcome. Gives you more card advantage.

I've been playing Yubel with a bigger unchained package to counter tenpai and be even more obnoxious against the other decks since the bigger unchained package let's use consistently play through multiple hand traps and set up Caeser, Rage in GY with Chamber set, Phantom and in very specific hands even ends on the Unchained special of Muckracker and Gryphon pointing to the Caeser and Phantom on top of the previous field.

With only the phantom knightmare support I found a line that ended on caeser, Muck a yubel, and a searched super poly. Even with my current build I still try to weave in searching super poly if I think I can. Most people scoop to the end field and some try to break it but scoop once super poly resolves. I also think it's dumb most people don't know these combos due to how unexplored/covered the deck was. Heck the bigger unchained package wasn't even highlighted until Jesse made his master duel profile for it and though he did use mature chronicle he never used it as a way to search super poly.

@@dennisbernhard3117 main deck: 3 abomination prison, 1 sarama, 1 aruha, 1 shyama, 1 sharvara, 1 of both the traps. Extra: 2 lord yama, 1 rage, 1 anguish, 1 abomination, and Abyss actor super producer is an honorary Unchained that is something necessary for some combos or as an end board piece to play around runicks or other annoying targeting effects without fiend locking like rakea would.

You play both traps since abomination prison can search one of them you set it sharvara destroys it to summon itself and sarama or shyama. Then you set the other when you link off sharvara and set the one destroyed by it later with sarama. You still end with rage in gy since yama can revive it again if you use escape to pop an opponents cards

Those are fine, I've been looking to try out Cynet Maliss for ages, hopefully Shifter is banned by the. Since I refuse to craft the thing. Ryzeal is like Spright but with a more interesting Level/Rank to work with. Expect to see people try everything from Zoodiacs to Vaalmonika with the things.

People vastly overrate what Shifter does for Maliss. Yes the deck runs it because it does good stuff for their own cards, but it is still a Cyberse deck. If Shifter is dropped, the power of their turn 1 board drops massively since it's basically taking away the majority of the generic Cyberse cards you can put up. It's not a deck like Ritual Beast for example that can put up it's full power board under Shifter. It runs Shifter because it can still put up a good board and Shifter weakens other decks more. It still makes their board MUCH more breakable.

It can also run so much non engine that can be either hand traps or board breakers and already is so “press bright buttons and win” that it just makes a really ugly deck to play in a best of 1 format. It is a quick loss though at least lol

@@plabcentral630 i have never ever lost to swordsoul and burn damage is only a problem if the deck pilot is bad, reminder that we have ways to negate effect damage and battle damage, as to how i beat swordsoul, simple dinomorphia set up and to finish it a ferretflames, thw only decks that i would ever worry about are 0/0 atk/def, the rest fall short cause they can't respond to counter traps and are stopped by rexterm alone.

You can play 6 copies, but it does nothing to link decks, and decks with more than 1 summoning type can just play around it. It only really cooks monotype extra decks, where you know it will 100% turn skip them.

Dinomorphia eats that deck alive 😂 Intact literally says my opp can’t kill me and you don’t need your opp to activate anything to get the linger eff meaning you can proc it yourself with Zarc (giving you access to its floodgate eff) or any fusion (which float) and you don’t care about them being unaffected thanks to rexterm. I don’t think either of those decks will actually RUIN anything. Ryzeal I don’t think will be as powerful here as it was in the OCG largely due to the card pool, and the fact that outing a rank 4 engine and/or the board it makes has historically been pitifully easy. Maliss should be an interesting deck, there’s gonna be two ways of building it (with or without Shifter) and both have very strong cases to be played. Shifter forces the deck to be pretty pure to function, but not running shifter gives you room to run functional non-engine that aids extension. IMO I think the decks are somewhere around the power level that MOST of the competitive scene is trying to encourage. Plenty of thoughtful counter play to be done and LOTS of yugioh to be played with those decks.
