Sam is actually very smart though, he's just CLEARLY messing around and trying to be funny. I don't know how much of it is purely an act and how much of it is his real personality, but he's CLEARLY putting on a show and it has served his channel well. If Sam were to take things seriously, he would probably be one of the more knowledgeable YugiTuber.

The MBT version is superior, i think for game shows such as these, even if theyre light hearted, you need to be a bit anal, which Joseph definately is better at than Paul. Also to make sure that the answers arent vague or can be interpreted in different ways and actually correct, MBT is far better regarding that

the Pot question is kinda hard, but it's easy to determine the Pot combination if you know their effects. example, in Pot of Extravagance, it is a combination of Pot of Riches (it interacts with the monsters in the Extra Deck, which in this case, random banish) and Pot of Greed (you draw cards). Pot of Prosperity is kinda hard bc it's Generosity and Riches, but the excavation part is akin to Duality, so I kinda get why Sam would go ahead and answer Duality

First of all, expecting them to have vast general knowledge about the game right off their head or to know it at the level of a competitive player is ridiculous. Sam is actually pretty knowledgeable, he just tends to not take things seriously and specializes in certain decks and formats he cares about. Ruxin only cares about sealed products and buying and selling. People who watch him watch him for those things and he doesn't claim to be knowledgeable beyond that. DuelLogs knows a lot of trivia about the game, cuz that's mostly what his channel is about.
