The New Year does start on Rosh Hashanah - it is mens traditions. GOD says New Year begins around Spring Feasts. Exodus 12:2 - “This month shall be for you the beginning of months. It shall be the first month of the year for you. (Please read this verse in its context). 💕

This day was what we know to be Aviv 17 wherein Noah found "rest". Yeshua, the LORD OF THE SABBATH, rose from the dead on Aviv 17, a weekly sabbath in 30 CE to give us "rest". If the seventeenth day of the seventh month was to be counted from Aviv 1, then that would be Tishri 17. Nothing important about that particular day. Things have to be reconciled by the two calendars. Our Creator just made a change to the order of months at the time of the Exodus. Shabbat Shalom to you.
