Happy birthday Ashley. The camper is going to be amazing. I’m always amazed to learn the differences from how we do things in Australia. If asbestos is found here, the site needs to be shut down, and a specialist removal team has to be sent in to remove it.

Thats the same here, if its an "industrial? commercial?" Jobsite. (one where a contractor is working on it) If you are doing it for yourself, especially on a home scale, you should, but most people really don't know what Asbestos looks like, so rarely do.

Yup. I found that worrying. Really you need protective clothing and a thorough shower and wash of anything you were wearing under it. After removal the whole site needs specialist cleaning too. That’s the regulation here. (U.K.)

FYI. The insulation is just fiberglass, not asbestos. Im an asbestos inspector as well as an abatement supervisor. I would agree that the tile likely is. This episode is too darn short. I am so looking forward to more! Happy birthday Ashley!!!

You could have made a small pillow out of the best curtain just to keep something. I kept a 12 inch piece of old wallpaper and framed it from my kitchen . It is from the 40's and really nice.

Great job Josh. I have some tips from someone that's been there. I would take every window. door and vent out and clean them up and reseal them. Also the aluminum strip around the outside of the RV. Be very careful with that strip as they don't make them. Don't use a silicone sealant get a UV mastic a lot of people use silicone and it doesn't work.

Just curious as to why you don’t want to use a pesticide to get rid of the ants? Pretty much everything is going to be replaced, I would think you wouldn’t want to mess with them at all, and killing them would ensure they don’t move on to your property. I used a heat gun to soften roofing tar. It was a bit messy until I found the right amount of heat to apply. Then it was fast and easy.

I can't imagine how they got the nest to the refuse site without getting stung themselves. Maybe it was at night when the wasps were asleep? But it's easy enough to spray the nest from far away with foam first. It would practically shut them down then, and the rest would die in a few hours. If Donna is saying it was the nest that was empty, it wasn't. I could see a full swarm flying around.

Happy Birthday Ashley! Josh, just from the looks of the ceiling, I'd replace that Vent. Not only to reinforce the area around it, but also because it did look kind of nasty in the shots I saw. Also, before coating the roof, Will you be soldering patches over the holes & Seams? Will you be using Bat Insulation again? Or Spray foam? I know...
