The soundtrack of super meat boy is weird because after Ed left team meat, which is a story in of itself, every future release got a whole different Ridiculon ost because Danny didn't want to be involved or something, it's weird

After I got some new headphones, I realized how impressive the synth skills really are and your video just popped up in my recommended, so thank you. I hope you don't if I share some video game music recommendations myself. If you want more indie games to check out, I recommend "Waterfall" from Ultimate Chicken Horse (ridiculous name, but extremely underrated party game and soundtrack) which has an absolutely insane composition with out of this world instrumentation. It is quite long, though, and goes through so many different vibes. Another indie game example would be "Water Town" (which is beyond impressive coming from the GameBoy) or "Sky's Theme" from Shantae. More triple A soundtracks, I'd recommend "God Shattering Star" from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The FE series in general has an underrated score, which isn't surprising judging by Nintendo's impressive track record. Not all tracks are for me, but it's worth checking out. You can let me know what you think if you ever decide to check these out

The evil you noticed in The Battle of Lil' slugger is bc Dr.Fetys the main antagonist sets ablaze to the forest you just traveresed in the light world (forest funk) and kills who knows how many animals, in an effort to destory meat and chase him down with a mech. You have to run! I noticed you really liked The Battle of Little Slugger, however there is an Extended Cut version which it extends the guitar solo and adds a finisher to the theme, and there are also extended cuts of other level themes, such as the Can O' Salt extended Cut which incoporated the original Salt Factory theme from the flash version into the song.

You’re welcome for the recommendation :) Also, I’m pretty sure everything is just Danny Baranowsky in a DAW. Another soundtrack I would recommend is Kirby Air Ride. The combination of real instruments with synths is amazing. My favorite tracks are probably the menu theme, and Machine Passage.

Of the original songs in the first 5 worlds of SMB, my least favorite is Can O’ Salt ONLY because I feel like the melody is less prominent in the first minute or so. I actually prefer the Can O’ Salt flash version because of this. They’re all bangers though, especially Betus Blues and it’s retro version

The start of vid made out of footage of "SMB: Forever", (which is casual autogenerated autorunner) and say, that fans of "SMB" (which is tough thought out platformer) despise "SMB: Forever" - is understatement. Also, I recommend listen to Undertale/Deltarunr OSTs if you didn't already (they literally changed my life) or The Binding Of Issac if you want more Danny's stuff.
