Some great moments here. Absolutely genius to bring trap-heavy Lab against Yubel for the 4th game since that deck has trouble finding lethal without using reflect damage and doesn't have a great grind game without the Fiendsmith cards. I also loved that Dweller into Zeus play to safely clear the board in the last game. I'm very hyped for the finals. If the snipehunters win again, I'll be 2-0 on predicting the MD world champions! Let's see if Emre can bring Flunder to 1st place like he wanted to last year.

i might be stupid but if quantal had gone for a draw 2 of the dugares and not greedy for game he wouldve undisputedly won, yet i dont really care since because of that lose we got to see quantal in the tear mirror to close this serise out at 4-4 which knowing quantal and his tearlaments skills, i wouldnt say light work but still it was such a pleasure to watch

@@guymitchell9234he had a win that turn without Dugares. Summon Dweller -> detach Snow -> Snow effect to revive is game. Rulkallos and Dweller would be boosted by 500 because of Reinoheart as material. He had 8050 damage on board with this line.

Dang very clutch. That last game looked winnable for the opponent if they used mudora to stop the kaleidoheart and saved the omni negate for something else. They got hard punished by the TTT as it allowed quantal to turn off rulkal, take enemy snow, AND make abyss dweller which turned off the mudora

from what I've seen, the way to go would have been Abyss Dweller instead of dugares. Then detach snow and summon her again. That would result in 1850 from snow, 2200 from dweller (as it has Reinoheart as material) and 4000 from Rulkallos (3000 base, 500 from field and another 500 from dweller) totaling 8050. Just barely leathal and plays around nib.

For people saying Quantal threw: While I do agree there was a throw, Dugares was a missplay, not a huge throw The throw was to book of moon the maxx c... Just don't? Dugares was still a missplay, but you needed to think "My opponent toggled off and waited for Nibiru despite the possibility of me extending further on Nib proof line" and then needed to see that Dweller Attack buff actually made it good enough to get OTK even through Nibiru, because Rukallos would be at 4k, Dweller 2200 and Snow 1850 This is not an easy find, let alone the fact there was no indication of Nibiru

No matter what you think of Quantal's decision to go for game, he was quite unlucky in that game. But luck came back to his side in the last game, where so many things went right for him to win the game

I looked at that match. I don’t really think there was anything unlucky about it. He had ttt to answer maxx c and ended on a fairly solid board with field spell, two tear traps, a shuffler and access to both fusions on the next turn. Opponent also had a good hand, but at the end of the day, I think the opponent definitely played better there. Some games do come down to luck, but that game came down to a misplay cuz there was a lethal line without playing into nib. The last game I think the opponent had a winnable field too but misplayed by not using mudora to stop kaleido so ig it evens out. There’s more to it than luck.

He was unlucky because his opponent had one card in hand and it is the only card that messes up the lethal play he chose. The second very unlucky is that his opponent is playing fricking Salam Almarj(who plays that in SE FK?) with which he made Hita and searched Ash. I could debate the Mudora play/misplay because I do think there was logic in holding on to Mudora for later. It is just unfortunate sequence of event that led to Zeus. But the real luck/misfortune is how great Quantal's mills were and how bad Task's were, especially in the first turn.

​@@milto2269 a few people already mentioned it in the comments. Going for abyss dweller line instead of dugares would have still given lethal after the nib due to the attack boost from dweller. For the mudora play, it’s a mirror match. It’ll generally be used to stop a fusion or snow. Using an Omni negate to stop a fusion was not worth over the mudora. If u think it’s better, tell me what punish would there have been if he went mudora first? Cuz from what I see, he got hard punished for not going mudora first.

@AnonymousUser82829 ok what Quantal did was definitely a mistake then. Still, I would be very salty if I lost to my SE FK opponent because he plays Almaraj. I think the idea of holding off using Mudora is to let the opponent use their first name to go into Kitkallos and then Mudora all relevant monsters from the Kitkal big mill, but yeah Quantal going immediately into Kleido messed things up (being able to mill two name off 3 cards mill is lucky). It was probably still a mistake but I would need to think about it more and the possibilities that could have been. Still Quantal milled like a God that game
