Branded do be like that. Love both decks. My best paleo game was also a grind battle against Branded, but with some Tear stuff that made everything more difficult due the possibility of burst triggering float effects with an open battle phase. We both were very low on time and the last hit was for 300 LP. It's on this channel if anyone is curious.

Those games are always such a technical blast. It’s a when you look at your opponents ed to figure out about when they are finally out of gas so you can start to clap back hard.

I’m so glad I made a Paleo deck, that toolbox control style really is my favorite style of play, and it allows me to have fun dueling against decks that I normally hate when I’m playing a more “traditional” deck. The only decks I hate playing against with Paleo are negate-slop decks like Centurion that do nothing but put up a bunch of Omni-negates. I’ve also noticed that the deck seems to have a terrible matchup with Salamangreat of all things. I can win against Yubel 9 times out of 10, but when I go second against Salamangreat I basically always lose (unless I open Grass, but usually resolving Grass is an auto-win, so that’s to be expected)
@deadlineuniverse3189Ай бұрын
@@alexcallender Yeah, paleo kinda misses the days when Centurion was Calamity turbo. Oh no, my set 5 pass deck is forced to set 5 and pass, whatever shall I do.

Jesus, the plant player misplayed so hard, he tributed the wrong aroma and also should have added level 1 monsters (evil seed and petal, from there he would use the evil seed do go link-2 into a jasmine, tribute the laurel to summon from deck and also the laurel would hit the gy, which triggers the laurel to gain, which triggers the jasmine, from there he would've had full combo and that would have been gg

As much as I love Hardleg, the AI version of the song was the best. It actually sounded like a professional country singer. Wish he would’ve posted that one as well, but I know there’s a very vocal minority opposed to anything and everything AI, even if it’s just for a fun song, so I get why he didn’t.
@TrueGamer22887Ай бұрын
@@alexcallenderwhat? He literally posted it himself with AI background on his music channel
@alexcallenderАй бұрын
@@TrueGamer22887 He did not post the version I’m referring to on his music channel. The original was made using AI vocals, and it sounded like it was sung by a professional singer. The one he posted on his music channel is the “final” version in which he actually sang the lyrics himself, and like I said, as much as I love Hardleg, I think the AI vocal version was better. If you want to listen to the version I’m referring to, it’s in one of the full-length Paleo Ladder Climb streams on his VOD channel, though I don’t remember which one.
@TrueGamer22887Ай бұрын
@@alexcallender but the music is AI in this version, so how can you say he has some awful aversion to it? It has AI in the title
@alexcallenderАй бұрын
@@TrueGamer22887 I never said Joe has some “awful aversion” to AI music - don’t put words in my mouth (and perhaps learn to read). I think there’s a big difference between uploading the version with AI vocals and the version where he sings the lyrics himself, even if the backing music is the same AI generated music in both versions. I don’t feel like this is difficult to comprehend. If you haven’t noticed the way very vocal segments of the public respond to AI generated art by now, I don’t know what to tell you. I simply was suggesting that Joe likely wanted to add a more human touch to the song before uploading it on his music channel, even though I personally prefer the original.
