RIP Paul. I remember Paul doing a similar routine in Heaven before the TV work, absolutely hilarious. He will be missed by many.

RIP paul. You were such a wonderful memory of my gay 1990s and seeing you perform at various venues. I’m sad for your husband’s loss, family’s and friends loss, animals’ loss, this nation’s loss. ❤️

How can it be I have cried for 2 days solid over someone I never knew & never met ?? Tho I have been a’ massive fan of lily savage and Paul o Grady since the early 90s after seeing him on a programme late at night with Jean Paul gautier called eurotrash and was hooked from there on. Paul really did live a full exiting fun filled life the kind I wish I had lived just on the go all the time and making the very best of whatever life sent his way, a very intelligent smart guy who took no shit from anyone and always looked out for folks less fortunate than himself he was a genuine socialist who saw the good in people. I will miss him forever I truly will! Still he is now reunited with Brendan Murphy, adrella, Sandra hush, chrissie and Regina fong and all his other friends who are no longer here. I send my love to his life long best friend Vera cheeseman, husband andre and all of Paul’s close circle of friends and family the world is a duller place without Paul o Grady REST IN PEACE YOU AMAZING MAN XXX jason

Thank you for your beautiful, heartfelt comment. Like you, I find myself crying every time I see and think of Paul. I first saw Lily Savage back in 1979/80. I had never seen anybody like her/him, and God knows, we never will again. Paul brought so much joy and laughter to this awfully troubled world. Sadly so many loved ones have passed since those more innocent days. Paul's passing feels like the end of an era; an era that I treasure with a love beyond the scope of words to convey. RIP Paul, you truly wonderful and unforgettable man you ❤
