+Dario Witer Well you see, Boomerang was a TV channel developed to replay older shows such as "Josie and the Pussycats", "Scooby Doo Where Are You?", "The FlintStones", "The Smurfs", and "The Huckleberry Hound Show" (along with many others) as well as some of their own shows like Krypto the Superdog. Boomerang has been around for over a decade (I watched it back in 2004 when I was 5 years old). It was very popular by people of various ages. And we millennials are quite aware that this show has been around for ages but that doesn't mean that it's only limited to those who watched it back in, to use your words, "the early '70s". And please do not refer to us millennials as "fucked up idiots" just because we weren't born in the late 60's. So, you uneducated swine, please do realize that just because we weren't born in that era doesn't mean that we can't enjoy the things that existed back then just as you are able to enjoy KZbin which was invented in MY time.

Well I wasn't born until 1989, but I don't care, I still love that show, still here's something you might love here, it's me as their 4th Pussycat, but because my gender's opposite from their's, I wasn't supposed to be wearing a leotard of any kind, not even leopard spotted ones, that's why I kept my blue jeans on and changed shirts for this white one revealing their logo like Melody's bass drum, but at least added the same fake kitty ears, fake kitty tail, and kitty footed shoes as their's. They have the same leopard spots as their's as well as their leotards, I got that shirt because I didn't want you or others to be weirded out by the sight of a male like me wearing a leotard, it would just be too disturbing to a lot of people. But at least Josie, Valerie, and Melody look happy about it, too bad Alexandra didn't as seen from the top-left corner in this one, she's jealous because she thinks she should be the 4th Pussycat and not me, but she can just learn to deal with it, still meant to be funny though, having her spy on me like that, but other than that, although Josie's still the leader of the group and not me, I just thought you'd love this as described about my position as 4th Pussycat: www.deviantart.com/wasted-effort/art/Pussycats-Fan-895571466

The african american character and lead singer is voiced by Patrice Holloway sister of Motown star Brenda Holloway whose hit "You Made Me So Very Happy" they co wrote together. Patrice signed with Motown aged 12 but her career failed to catch fire. She recorded a few great sides with Billy & Gene Page that also failed to chart but are highly respected on the UK Northern Soul scene "Love & Desire" "A Touch of Venus" & "Stolen Hours". Patrice was highly respected and was THE "go to" session singer in L.A. Appearing on just about everyone's records from early Barry White sessions, as an Ikette, Joe Cocker's "With A Little Help From My Friends", She also features on "Reach Out & Touch Somebody's Hand" & "Someday We'll Be Together" by Diana Ross- (sidebar) "Someday" was originally recorded for inclusion on Diana's debut solo album but Motown decided to release it as the final single by Diana & the Supremes- only Diana appears along with Patrice, Clydie King and Merry Clayton. Patrice also performed live in concert and tv behind Aretha Franklin. Sadly she suffered severe mental health issues and was forced to retire aged 23. She died in 2006 aged 55.

@@stringsofnature4014 Josie and the Pussycats debuted on September 12th, 1970 on CBS, and ran for only one season, but reruns, both on Saturday morning and in syndication, gave the show extended life and popularity, which was such that the whole cast was brought back for the self-explanatory sequel series, Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space. While Scooby Doo came out in Sept. 13, 1969 with the premiere of “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!” The series joined CBS-TV's Saturday morning cartoon lineup and introduced four intrepid teenage detectives and a talking dog named Scooby-Doo. Season 2 of Scooby Doo came out on the same day of Josie and the Pussycats.

The TV show yes, but Joise and the Pussycat’s were comic book characters in Archie comics before Scooby Doo was a tv show. The intellectual property is older than Scooby.

Do you imagine how epic it would be if they make Riverdale's Josie and the pussycats sing this song in the series?
