The constant "oh I messed up the trick" "oh wait I'm invincible" and "ok I got my dash back" "oh wait I can't lose it" It's definitely hard to take advantage of invincibility and infinite dashes when there's no immediate obvious visual indication. You say "well her hair will stay red all the time," but there's so much route memory and rapid dash refresh dash refresh that you often don't even see the hair blue for more than a split second, and can't tell it's missing. If invincibility made her turn gold or something, and infinite dashes gave her a new hair color, maybe green as a throwback to pico-8, parrot would have been able to immediately dive through spikes and zoom across rooms until it ran out, instead of trying to stick to the normal movement when she didn't have to. Edit: like five minutes after I posted this they reset the crowd control and notifications started appearing in the corner of the screen like they were supposed to from the beginning. Go figure.
