Not every player has to be tactical. If they are very good in the few things they could do to help their team, that's good enough. Remember Lomu and what he did to the French back then.

Sure I agree with you on that. The thing is that the TOP 14 turnament is becoming more and more aggressive and most of the players have to get stronger and stronger and stronger,. Players that should be more tactical are becoming just more aggressive. It kills the sport. Parents don't want their kids to play with that amount of violence anymore. Even if rugby has always been an aggressive sport...but now this is too much. (Remember that we watch this on a video, in real life next to the players you can really feel the violence of the shock)

I sure agree with the idea of having to get tactical in front of an insurmountable pressure, it's true. But something tell me that it is becoming more en more difficult to overpass those players, plus it is becoming too dangerous (so many concussions during the turnament...). Maybe the only thing to do is simply to make the game a little bit more playable than now. (physical strengh is also discriminant for the different countries, Japan for example which have to look for foreign players to play in their team). Yup, sorry for talking too much haha, thanks for the interesting debate though (and sorry for my english).

Since rugby has become professional, players has become more tactical in how they tackle due to the irb's proposed law in where a player are to wrap their arms and access to gym workouts to enhance their speed and power, but Tuisova is just too skillful in repealing players, with his sudden push off and left arm stiff arm, which most don't notice.

You didn't show a prove of the latest stats of the amount of concussions that has happened when the irb has just implanted tougher laws on tackling? You were making a lot assumptions! In addition, you said kids witness much more violent hits in rugby. What about wrestling for example, where a wrestler put a guys head between his leg, toss his leg up, and pin down his head.Have you written to your government to ban such scenes on television? Do you urge French parents in terror to disallow their kids from watching it? Although you don't see rugby players doing that?! Josua is one dimentional he is not the best winger in the world but certainly the deadliest in a 2nd rate French league that's filled with Southern Hemispheres retirees earning a final buck. If he played in super rugby against nz teams, he wouldn't be as effective. He would still be a beast no doubt, but as he is, he would not be an all black. His all round game lacks. It's not all about brutal force you need to be a complete package. Waisake naholo would be the best winger in super rugby. I can't say of the world that's up for conjecture. But my money is on waisake every time he is deadly all round

He is definitely not the best winger in the world. In a one dimensional rugby where only physicality counts he would be among the best with some guys like Savea, North, Nayaravoro, Nadolo etc... I explain myself: His game is really predictable and the day he will find stronger and faster than him it will be over and will have bad game cause he is one dimensional (a bit like Toulon game in general), not a step, not a trick just brutality, a sad image of the modern north rugby. He reminds me of Julian Savea ( tough Julian is a good passer ) , who bumps but never try something else. Put a Nayaravoro in front of Tuisova and it would be interesting to analyse. Nadolo is today probably the greatest wing in the world, and why ? Of course he has physic but can play like an third center, able to do letal offloads for his partners and not to play like a brainless rhino.

I think if you stuck naiyaravoro in front of him he'd do pretty well. of you haven't seen already savea sat down naiyaravoro, and I think tuisova is better and more powerful then savea. nadolo is a monster, can kick, offload, bump off, tackle, but he's getting near the end of his career, tuisova has only just started.
