An adaptation of Spanish Jota inspired from the flamenco movements of La Sevillana of Spain. The National Artist for Dance Lucrecia R. Urtula+ of the Bayanihan Philippine National Dance Company, first introduced the skillful and expressive interpretation of Philippine "stampas y curvas" of a jota. This version is the interpretation of the National Artist for Dance Ramon A. Obusan+ presented an arrangement of Jota de Manila as performed by the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group and ws transcribed in instructional form by Aquilino Eduardo P. Santos and Larry A. Gabao
