No kidding. I just got done with Steel Ball Run and now I'm on Jojolion. And holy hell are these abilities crazy. Two words: MEAT! SPRAY! not even joking a stand user named Hot Pants has a stand in form of a spray can and it's ability is to spray liquified flesh of the user.🤮 Then we got the broken ones like 20th Century Boy. It's a purely defensive stand that you wear and it's ability is to redirect all incoming damage downwards so you're completely unharmed. Only thing is, you can't move while it's active. Then there's D4C which allows you to switch another multiversal variant of yourself when you're about to die. Then we got a fucking tree stand that'll give you valuable items but it'll kill ya if you don't use them up by the end of the day. Uuuuuughhh some of these stand abilities make my head hurt!! Seriously is Araki on drugs when he makes these things?! AND WHY THE HELL DOES THE REVISED JOSUKE HAVE FOUR GODDAMN TESTICLES?!

He’s the stoically assertive one and ChadGoat. As for his hat, half of it is cut off to show the back of his head with his hair for it to air out, like with parts 1 and 2, the fashion is a flamboyant statement that men can wear whatever they want. Flamboyant masculinity as the inherent style of the series.

Stardust Crusaders is a wild ride, and even though I enjoy parts 4 and 6 more, this part is just such a variety pack of new, weird types of guys. they just keep inventing new types of guys, and every time you think they can't get weirder, they do. which is something I enjoy about a lot of my favorite stuff. (on that note, also, big DOROHEDORO recommendation)

I think the thing I realized about myself when I started watching part 6, is that I like Jojos best when it has a small setting... like Morioh, or the Green Dolphin prison. it feels like if the setting gets too big, then all the off-the-walls details just starts to make the world feel disjointed, and you start to feel like things matter less after a while, because everything runs on really bendable dream logic. but when you have a very limited area to examine, that same quality makes the setting feel more detailed and well characterized. it's like it trims some of the series' excesses in a way that's actually healthier for the story.

The hat is a Chainsaw Man devil. Jotaro was so strong since birth that he was never able to grow hair on his head and remained like that till certain age. Then he came across the hat devil which offered to grow hair on his head only if he let him stay on his forehead. Now the hat lives on the forehead and the hair it grew appear on the back. It is a symbiotic relationship

The actual reason why they had to specify that the events and characters of this series are not related to any real people is because most characters from this point on are named after bands, singers, or songs, and from next part on (or rather one particular stand at the ending of this part), stands are also named after songs, bands, or albums. Also, Jotaro is dressed in Japanese school uniform, and where his hat ends and his hair begins is one of unresolved mysteries of JJBA. Presumably, his hat is just torn at the back, so hair is sticking out.

We didn't get a Nicho's Bizarre Adventure in Japan, but it's nice to have you back on JoJo! And you know what elese are back? Musical References! So here are the new Musical References introduced in this first episode of Stardust Crusaders: - Jotaro's absent father is named Sadao. We never see him, thoughn it's not a spoiler. His name is probably a reference to Sadao Watanabe, a Japanse Jazz Lusician. - Muhammad Avdol is named after Paula Abdul, and american singer - Star Platinum, Jotaro's Stand, may have been designed after Bazilian Group Nenhúm de NósW's "The Marble Astronaut" - Magician's Red, the stand of Avdol, may have been designed after Uriah Heep's "The Magician's Birthday" (For the last ones, it's only speculative, there are no official confirmation) Also, yes, Jotaro's VA also did Erwin later, and DIO's VA played Zeke. So yes there were a lot of memes back when Erwin did his charge against the beast titan comapring the scene to JoJo. Oh, and another reminder that you should not watch JoJo on Netflix, ADN, Crunchyroll or whatever. The subs will censor more and more names making them dumber and dumber. Actually, AOT Season 1 released in 2013 and this episode was released in 2014, so Daisuke Ono was Erwin before he Jotaro. However, Takehito Koyasu was actually Dio before he was Zeke, since Phantom Blood anime released in 2012 and Zeke's first appearance didn't come until Season 2 aired in 2017.

Just as a fun fact, the Stand system inspired the Persona system. ^.^ The hat and hair thing will only irritate you for an episode or three; depending on how long it takes for you to get used to it. This part is at least the second longest part in the show (possibly just the longest, but I remember part 4 taking a while too), and there will be episodes that you should do together just for the full effect. This is a journey I look forward to embarking on with you, though. You're already having so much fun with it, and it only gets better. 🎉 Keep having fun! It's awesome to watch. 🎉

Something to know about anime and style In Japan is bancho style it's like a delinquent trouble maker aesthetic. jotaro has that style and it shows up in shows like mob psycho and metal bat hero from one punch was bancho so in future anime you now know what that charecter style is called love the vids nick check out blue lock i don't like football (⚽) and even I think it's fire
