hiiiii jounail! ❤ LOVED the video and nail art! you always have the prettiest designs and combinations! you truly have an eye for that! to answer your question, i prefer the gel-x (gel extensions with full cover tips) “aprés” method the most, i find it to be the most convenient, but since watching you videos over time (i’ve been a long term subscriber) i have been slowly teaching myself how to do polygel and hard gel extensions with forms and half cover tips. it is really far out of my comfort zone and i’m not very good at it yet but your videos are really good motivation to keep at it to continue to get better! thanks for this adorable design and can’t wait to see what the next video will be! 🫶🏻🥰🤍

Always so pretty! I wonder...my nails are a good length so I don't want to use tips. When doing my own nail art, how do I take off 3D nail designs like charms without using a drill or damaging the nail?. I used a drill last time to remove them and I damaged my nails so badly that I couldn't have them done for almost 5 months :(

i’m not sure exactly how you do your nails but with this, i think it might be best to use the drill to get the gel down very thin, then use a liquid to soak off the remaining gel. you should never use a drill to drill all the way down to your nail bed or rip off the charms so be careful!! a peel off base gel might also work well for you to help avoid damage. good luck :)

@@bbyong3 Thanks for the advice! That was my first time doing my own gel nails with tips. I guess the glue and base coat I used worked just a little too well & I struggled getting everything off so I definitely overdid it with the nail drill, my nail beds were bruised for months after. I'm going to try a peel off base gel this time and see if I have more luck. Just have to find a happy medium where the nails are long lasting but also easily removable 😅 Thanks again!
