I absolutely love this idea! I have three little one that are constantly asking to tell them stories from when they were babies. They would so appreciate something like this.

This never ends, all my kids are grown and they still ask for their baby stories, I should have been writing down way more than I did. I gotta keep writing😉.

The laundry story is adorable- I loved the smell of hot fresh laundry when I was young... I'd snuggle up w-it too.. My mom called me a kitty cat!!! I still love fresh laundry as an adult!!! You NEVER need to feel pressure to be all made up for videos- just be u sister- no one should judge u! I would never do that; natural beauty is the way u were born... Thanks for sharing😘💕🐾🌻

I love this idea. When I used to write things to people it was just on scraps of paper but I think this is a really good idea :) it's really sweet and I know that they will really appreciate it.

Such a cute memory to capture for your boys. I really need to get some tomoe river paper for my own inserts it looks like it holds up to just about everything.

Love this idea!! I'm going to try it out for my kiddos. I also stuff my washed laundry in to bags and take them home to fold lol I always get weird looks. Do you have a video on how to make inserts?

Wonderful thing to do for your boys, Ali and it will give them each such great memories. The Tomoe River paper that you use in the boys' journals ... what gsm is it? I have some 52 gsm, but it's sooo thin ... looking for some a bit heavier and would like to find it in loose sheets, not booklet form.

I've actually used dental floss a lot for making a sewn binding for my inserts. It works really well: strong, doesn't tangle and smells like mint. Who could ask for anything more?

Great video!! Love your style!! Was wondering if you could do a video on tip ins? I have tried but can't get them to work right for me. I usually just end up having whatever tapped down to my page. can't get it to be tapped but able to lift up. HELP, PLEASE?! Thank You and God Bless 😃

So I had a video where I explained tip ins, but I didn't actually demonstrate it. Here's that video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHvFqXt4Zaeto8km43s I will try to remember to do a demo of that in the future. :) Thanks so much for watching!!!

What kind of heat gun do you use? Do you think there's one that's the best to have, or are they all pretty much the same? Thank you so much, I love your videos soo so much! :)
@AliBrownie8 жыл бұрын
It's an old Close To My Heart one from over 10 years ago. I haven't really researched the heat tools nowadays. But I figure they are probably all comparable. That probably didn't help much. 😜 Sorry! Thanks for your love and for watching! ❤️

The first song in the intro is a song I wrote and recorded. The lyric version is available on iTubes. The song during me journaling is another song that I write and recorded for the purpose of time-lapse videos. Thanks so much for the compliment! :D

@AliBrownie8 жыл бұрын
I don't think I used a plastic sheet. Can you tell me the time mark where you saw that so I can give ya a good answer? Thanks so much for watchin'!!! :)

At 3:49 you pull a brown sheet out that you put under you insert which seems to keep ink from gettin on your table. 🙂
