Thank you for sharing! We had a rabbit (Smokey who walked on a leash), raccoon, pigeon, cat and dog, plus four kids we would all go for a nightly walk. When we would get to a street corner our pigeon would land look both ways and lead us all across. Have an awesome day!

Funny, about the goldfish. When I was a child we had a ‘mutant’ gold fish. It was a normal goldfish that grew to be 11 years old and about 4-4 1/2 inches. It was really huge. Near the end of it’s life my mother frankly became a bit fed up with changing his bowl. Over the course of it lifetime he jumped out of the fishbowl multiple times after which he kept floundering on it’s side. At this point my mom gave him a whack with her pointer finger (mutant goldfish CPR) and he went happily on his way for the next couple of years... Here’s to mutant goldfish everywhere!! Thanks for sharing al of your lovely creative work an your stories.

Boy has Archie grown! We had Angel fish that started the size of a nickel & they grew to the size of your palm. The lasted about 5 years.

In the wild fish live twice as long, so you are doing good. In an aquarium 10 years is about the max. In a bowl the life span is extremely short and they suffer greatly, because the round edges mess up with their perception and sight, so always use a square aquarium

I had a betta fish, who also had a tumor/cyst/growth behind his eye, he lived longer than any betta I've ever had - roughly 6 years!

My sister had a goldfish like that...she got it at a fair and it lived for 15 years and became huge! 😂😂😂

We had goldfish for 40 odd years. Goldfish are meant to live for over 40 years or more & do so in the wild. But pet ones only live on average 5-10 years at the most with most People. It's testimony that You look after Your animals properly. The bigger the tank the longer They live & if They have real plants & other fish, good pumps & filters etc. It's just that most People don't look after them properly. Ours only passed away because We brought one Home that We rescued from the fair & obviously this fish wasn't healthy & was carrying possibly a parasite or bacteria & it killed Our old Girls. It is normal for fish to live for a very long time.

It is so good for å kid to have pets in his life. But gold fish I dont have any experience with. Only one time when I was a student one of ny friends had three. But they did not survive. I love your videos. And You inspire me to wanting to try travelers notebooks. But it is not to easy to Get a hand on here in Norway. Big hug to You all!
