Oooo a vinyl collection...that sounds cool. I bought my son a turntable for his 24th birthday and when he set it up home, he tried it out with his favourtie movie soundtrack: Back to the Future - Huey Lewis and the News: That's the Power of LOve. So nostalgic for me..great that I could pass on that analogue vibe.

Thank you - I really enjoyed that. I like that you do write a lot in your journal and are very intentional with your decorations. I find watching journal decoration fascinating, and there are many people who I think are true artists, but I am not so keen on those who fill the whole spread with a collage of elaborate papers and write only a minimal amount, which, when considered, actually has no connection with the decorations. I often really like their style, but it's not for me. I think that you have the balance between embellishment and text just right, and really admire your neatness. I also like that you know what you want to wrtie about and make the images fit in with your subject. I do decorate my journal pages too, but minimal with washi and stickers, and some "found" scraps from magazines and chocolate wrappers for example. Since I mainly just brain dump I don't even attempt to match any theme ! 😂😂🤣🤣

Aw thank you so much! I'm so glad that you enjoyed this video. I do use the art journal as an actual 'journal' so I write quite a lot. And sometimes it's also a brain dump, and I don't get to use stickers that makes sense with the content, but I still try to make the spread look cohesive. It really depends on my mood that day. Oh! Also, for pen and ink suggestions, I recommend Twsbi for beginner fountain pen enthusiasts in general! I love their diamond ALR 580 series (including the minis, which you might enjoy since you enjoy the Kaweco sport!). And for ink, I love a good olive green ink so some of my favs are Diamine Safari, Robert Oster crocodile green, and rohrer and klingner’s alt-goldgrun!
