that's an interesting take on it! I personally disagree. I don't think there is a finish line. Unless you consider death the finish line? In which case i don't think many people are really trying to run towards that (lol) I think i spent to much time viewing life as a marathon, like there was this course i needed to stay on and these checkpoints i needed to reach. Then i realized that, life isn't a marathon, it's just life. You can go anywhere you want. You can steer off the course, settle in one spot forever or until you get tired of it and want to head somewhere else. I don't have a finish line, an end game that i'll reach someday and be like "yup okay i'm all done now!" I'll just live, until i physically can't anymore. thats how i see it!

cozykitsune your philosophy is a beautiful one as well. At 51 I’ve found that everyone has there own and that’s OK. (I DO wish I had taken the time to finish nursing school so that I could have stopped and started my career as necessary, as a woman who’s journey has included bringing new life, and helped ppl in that way. Preparation is sometimes necessary. But, over all, it’s been great so far)
