My wife’s father was a combat medic for one of the ethnic groups in Myanmar who’s been fighting for their independence for a long time. Absolute warrior group of people. Can’t imagine the horrors he has seen. He lives here in the US now but will always have bullet in his abdomen to remind him of the horrors he’s endured.
