Journalist reacts to Dreamcatcher(드림캐쳐) 'JUSTICE' MV

Dreamcatcher(드림캐쳐) 'JUSTICE' MV came out a few weeks ago and I couldn't help but watch the new work from JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyun.
Once again Dreamcatcher have created a true masterpiece because Justice, in my opinion, is one of their best songs. There is nothing wrong with this project as they are amazing, the song is beautiful and the MV is a true masterpiece that contains breathtaking scenes.
Dreamcatcher(드림캐쳐) 'JUSTICE' MV is definitely on another level compared to the previous single and marks a return to the origins for JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyun who refer more to the tones and sounds than featured the most famous songs of their career. Thanks for checking out Justice! Looking forward to the album review, it's fantastic. The Versus duology is a parallel world series where the choices that Dreamcatcher makes are complete opposites. In OOTD they were the villains and the story that played out in the MV and the ARG behind the scenes was about Dreamcatcher sacrificing 100 people to the crown in order to obtain it and with it, Power. To me, it was a metaphor for being willing to sacrifice anything to chase fame, money, and power, even yourself. In Justice they're the Virtuous heroes who are willing to sacrifice themselves in order to save others. They're choosing to take the hard path and stay true to who they are and what they believe in, even if it means they're not as successful as they could be. On top of that, the song just hits harder right now with all that's going on in the world. It's an anthem, a rallying cry to stand up and fight for what's right, even if it costs you. A message that DC has touched on many times in their discography and one that mirrors their own struggles in the k-pop industry. Your comments on Freedom are definitely in line with this song as well and one of the b-sides, 2 Rings, uses a lot of metaphors for this specific idea. Aside from the album, they've got live showcases for Justice and 2 Rings. Since Siyeon is out they had some of the other members cover her parts and they did a fantastic job. There is also an It's Live and dancEAR performance that are both fantastic, and Siyeon is present for both of those. The It's Live performance will probably need some filtering on the video but the dancEAR performance appears to be fine to react to, I've seen a bunch of people react to it without issues or modifications to the video.

Justice could be described as the counterpart to OOTD where they were playing the villain role (being the narcissistic and superficial influences), here they put an end to the crown that made people hurt each other and be greedy for power. Also Justice could be connected to so many other things in real life. There is a lot of backstory about the concepts of these last 2 comebacks, but one thing that was said is that there are parallel universes where you could be a totally different person. That could not only be related to this last 2 comebacks where they become the villains and then themselves from another universe are the heroes, it could also mean that their other storylines may be connected in some way, for example at the end we see 8 members when the group only has 7.... And for the promotions before the comeback they released a game that connected all storylines... I really wonder what the next step will be.

I loved your interpretation, it's very interesting. Surely with the next comeback we will have the opportunity to better understand the storyline behind this project. I hadn't noticed the 8 members, now I'm even more curious to know what direction they will take. I don't think they'll add a new member to the lineup, but it would be interesting

They might be sending a message about the injustice that's happening in the world right now. You know...the numerous war crimes reported on the media for example. Storywise, it is also a perfect contrast to OOTD where they are playing as heroes resisting the temptation of the crown and trying to destroy it
