When it came out Egotistic was #1 in my heart but according to wikipedia it peaked at #4 on both the weekly Gaon/Circle chart in Korea and on Billboard's World Digital chart. It's worth re-watching the MV to see how it fits into the 4 Season 4 Color project. As you mentioned, this is the Summer/Red title track and that correlates to Passion in the four part relationship cycle. In the MV each member expresses her own personal take on Passion and Red via her wardrobe, props and actions while presenting four stages of leaving an egotistic jerk of a lover from Anger to Defiance to Vengeance to Liberation. As usual, nothing is random or just for looks so there's symbolic meaning to things like the jaguar, the bathtub, the pole dancing, the car and the fire.

@@queenshipkpop I think it's fun to theorize about what they're up to based on the clues provided in the MV. I gave you some of my general conclusions but left it up to you to interpret the members for yourself. Another question worth asking is the meaning of the opening sequence from the tear in Moonbyul's eye to the Red Moon logo in her eye to the Red Moon necklace a bit later and whether it's related to the flamenco guitar intro.

This is one of my favorite mamamoo songs, everyone loves this song it is impossible to not start moving to the beat. The live versions are awesome also. There is a four seasons concert video, a full 4 hour video or you might find it broken up into 4 videos. It is worth watching. During the concert, they have 4 solo stages where you will see some great performances. They do more than sing, they have a 20 minute comedy skit to go with their song 1 CM taller than you, song covers, playing drums. A great concert. I saw them live last year in los angeles, and the live stream concert a couple years ago but that four seasons concert is something to see. Egotistic did in fact chart #1 on 4 different charts back then, #3 on some as well and Red Moon also charted well as the mini album for it.

You got around to this one! This is my top fave of their title tracks because it's a great melody with great lyrics all in a fabulous mv. This project was really Mamamoo at the height of their fame but it was mostly focused in Korea and east Asia. They didn't get more international acclaim until after their Killing Voice started going viral. This is the pro and con of their company RBW. Since Mamamoo was their first signed group, they were really treading new waters when it came to marketing and promotion. But without RBW, they also wouldn't have grown into such powerful and unique artists. Their company was amazing at song creation but not so at promotion back then.

Not really a fan of this one or Aya because of the ethnic vibe. I'm not a fan of ballads, either, and Mamamoo and Wheein especially have done a LOT of ballads. Otherwise, I like most of their songs. Hwasa just released a banger called Na, 30M views in 10 days! Not to be outdone, Moonbyul just released a love song called Dear.
