I am strictly a centrist and have been trying (since my absence of 41 years from the country I was born) to understand how Italy works, notwithstanding dozens of parties. Meloni is by far superior to the majority of the country's politicians, she has guts and when she promises something she will do her best to achieve it. She is a centre-right person in my opinion, but will have an almost impossible task in having to sort out the mess left by incompetent leftist rule, and that were never democratically elected.
