I can't believe they disregarded this album. It's definitely one of my favorites of Journey. But Steve Perry, amazing albums. All of them. Seen them twice in the uk. Hope they come back.

why was this removed?
@kevincook7455 жыл бұрын
@@BruceBarrera I have no idea! But I'm extremely upset about it. It hasn't been on spotify for about 2 years now. Hopefully someone has the album file and can import it

Hey do yourself a favor man go out and buy the CD on Amazon.com you'll find the CD on there if you haven't found the generation CD on Spotify the last two years chances are it's not going to return ever again so go out and buy the CD on amazon.com and that way you have the actual disc in hand and that way you can play over and over until it wears out and starts skipping and gets for scratches but that's up to you and I hope that helps😀

*"Faith in the Heartland"* Ooh, yeah, yeah He goes to work in a brand new dawn With the early morning sunrise He's got his dream and he's holding on It's getting harder every day Loves a girl who speaks her mind Don't always look at life the same way Sharing truth that will heal in time They wanna believe something real, still they're searching They're keeping the faith in the heartland tonight Time moves on as a fading town And they struggle with the changes The stores have closed, friends have moved away Now it's hope that sees them through The kids have gone, but they'll see them all At the Sunday congregation Sharing dreams, truth will heal in time They wanna believe something real, still they're searching They're keeping the faith in the heartland tonight It's words that divide them, it's love that defines them They're keeping the faith in the heartland tonight In our darkest hour, oh, we look to the sky With a silent prayer, believe that God's on our side Oh, in a land where freedom reigns And where eagles fly Ooh, yeah, yeah They wanna believe something real, still they're searching They're keeping the faith in the heartland tonight Yeah, it's words that divide them, it's love that defines them They're keeping the faith in the heartland tonight Oh, I just wanna believe it Give me something to believe in We all need something to believe in, oh, tonight Got faith, got dreams, believe Yeah, we're keeping the faith alive

@@BruceBarrera I hate to bust everyone's bubble here but all three singers in Journey a fantastic in their own right Steve Perry Steve augeri and Arnel Pineda a fantastic in their own right so you may say that I know is he still eating rabbit but Steve Perry fully supports him so don't just focus on just him but focus on the other singers are fantastic in their own right too and they bought a lot to the table as well thanks.

Don’t know why they didn’t just start fresh with a new name and new songs with surgeries, his albums were great. They could have left Journey under Hiatuses and awaited a Steve Perry return and went on with Steve Augerie until then.

Heard both versions of the song and I like both, but surprisingly for me I like the Arnel Pineda version better...

This song was released first on Generations with Steve Augeri. When Arnel joined the band they re did it on Revelation.
