I am profitable with 1 lot from last 8 month, I will continue with 1 lot for next 4 month and once I will be profitable in 1 year with 1 lot I will increase my qty to 2 lot. I started with 5000 in nifty options and now my capital is 7500 in 8 months even though my brockrege and taxes are 8000 so net to net I am in 2500 profit. That is the power of patients and I will be become full time trader in 2025. I started options trading in 2020. This the plan for 5 year.

Male age-70:- I am impressed by Shrimati's knowledge. I do not differentiate between male and female. I have never done F&O. I am afraid of this. I buy good shares when they are in the red. Wait for them to appreciate more than 5%. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately I have only 22 lacs rs 15 lac invested and 7lacs profit reinvested. Now 15+7 = 22lacs in my PF. Black and scholes formed a hedge fund dealing in option selling and it went to banruptcy . Option is insurance and not trading instrument . Future traders take position in option to minimize the risk . Cash traders takes position in option to make arbitrage profit in stock and expiry price . Because every traders know option is wasting asset . These options seller not traders of future and cash are taking risk of the day when market goes all against them and many sellers never return to market . You spoke my heart out........ People don't realize this........ They want the excitement of knowing the unknown.... They want the thrill of prediction...... For me... Investing is like owning a business...... I stay with my investment in companies as long as companies are there and earning and growing..... I buy them at a bargain with a decent margin of safety and then stay invested in them.... For a consistent company my holding period is forever....... Though I prefer ETF investing over any other company....... And I eagerly wait for a gargantuan crash with decent surplus in bank, ready for deployment in a panic.......These traders are like mushrooms in a damp environment.... Once there is dry and rough weather, they just vanish into oblivion.
