Ich kann nur sagen, dass deine Kompositionen die Atmosphäre in den Spielen richtig aufgewertet haben.Und diese Neuauflage von Khorinis erweckt die Nostalgie erneut in mir. Ich werde auf jeden Fall das Album kaufen, wenn es draußen ist :)

In one of the interviews, Bjorn Pankratz made interesting point, that there are many opinions among fans on what made Gothic games 'gothic' and as such it would not be easy for the PB development team itself to answer that question, had they chose to develop another Gothic game. For me, if PB ever wants to make another Gothic game, they need to have audiotracks composed by you. Period. Gothic is so memorable for me almost exclusively due to its soundtrack. Valley of mines wouldn't be so nostalgic without those flutes, and I wouldn't have revisited Gothic 3 so many times if not for those excellent sound tracks. Even Risen has very memorable tracks (Island and Island at night!). The moment you left, somehow PB lost this magical touch to their games even though games were technically sound. I want to hear you in games again! :)

Absolutely love your Work Kai. This has been true since 2001 when you few at Bytes were putting out Gothic. None of you had Driver's Licenses if I recall. ;-) How time flies! I just found out you started a channel. This was a couple years ago now. Keep going man, you're amazing! One of the reasons I started playing the Flûte traversière or "The Flute" back in 07 was Vista Point. Thank you for inspiring me. Today I am also a CG artist thanks to you. I know your early work was mostly soundtrack and some particle effects here and there. Ich habe gerade erfahren, dass du die Musik für Gothic und Risen 1 geschrieben hast. Jaja... Asche auf mein Haupt. Und ich Idiot frag mich noch, warum Risen 2/3 so viel schlechter waren (Soundtechnisch) als ihr Vorgänger. Und jetzt ein Album. Wie ...ähem... GEIL ist das denn ?! Risen ist eine Herzensangelegenheit, vorallem (!!!) wegen deiner Musik. Daher bedanke ich mich für 452 Stunden Risen, 363 Stunden Gothic in denen ich meist nur in der Gegend stand und die Atmosphäre aufgesogen habe. Danke, danke, danke. Album wird gekauft. Weißt du schon die Plattformen für den Vertrieb ? Ach ja: Danke. Gez. Ein riesen Fan deiner Musik

I understand that, the project is progressing much slower than I had hoped it would. I got a few game music jobs in the meantime that keep me super busy. But as a compensation for the backers' patience, I have agreed with the game companies on giving backers the soundtracks I'm working on for free - in addition to "Journey Home". So If you had backed me in 2014, you'd get 3 hours of new music instead of just one album, incl. the soundtracks for "The Long Journey Home" and "Aquanox Deep Descent". So, there's always two sides to every story.
