Freight is the biggest earner for Indian Railways. SECR zone has one of the largest density of freight movement, mainly coal, iron and steel, fly ash and cement. Freight has the highest priority in this zone. All passenger trains get late in this zone whenever there is freight movement. Dedicated freight corridor is needed in this zone.

Haa bhai duronto ko bhi yaha 7-8 hr late kar dete hai kya rajdhani kya hi duronto secr ke liye. Yaha fright train hi rajdhani duronto hai. Vande Bharat bhi yaha 15-20 min late ho jaati hai yaha kabhi kabhi

Bilaspur Zone is the highest earning zone of India, because of the coal coming out here, hence priority is given to the coal trains here over all the passenger trains. Specially korba - Bilaspur - annupur- katni route and Bilaspur- nagpur route.

Kuch din pehale maine 24 hrs late Gitanjali Express main short distance ke liye travel kiya tha jo ki Howrah -Mumbai Line ki high priority daily train hai . Yaha pe alag se Fright Coridor ki requirment hai.

Apart from the hype about vandebharat, it seems IR is going downwards. Food quality of Raj & Shatabdi spl 1st class detoriated. Timings of many legendary trains like Coromendal, Geetanjali have actually increased instead of getting faster.

South East Central railway Bilaspur zone is the biggest hub of goods train.. this zone is high purity of the goods train. Second in the passenger trains. But in my experience in this zone is very good. I have many train travelled by Bilaspur to Varanasi and this zone is very good experience to others one of compare to North railway

Just before Darekasa Railway Station there is a Waterfall called Hazar Waterfall. It flows only in the rainy season and it's a treat to watch. It's visible for a very short period as train moves very fast and enters a tunnel just after the fall. Also as for Freight Trains, if they r not given the priority, half of India will be without electricity as coal from Odhisa & Chhattisgarh is transported from here.

I am from Bilaspur.....Goods train ke chhaker me hi late ho rahi hai passangers trains ....3 lines ban chuki hai ab 4th par kam chal raha hai jab ye 4 th line complete hogi uske bad 2 line good train ke lie 2 passangers ke lie chalegi tab jake ye problem solve hogi,,,let see kab tak pura hoga kam to chal raha hai Bilaspur station ke platform bhi 10 hone wale hai abhi 8 hai.....

First, this is a busy Mumbai - Howrah Route with various junctions in between. Secondly, freight trains are given priority in this section as this is a coal and Iron & Steel belt, all the trains get delayed except VB as that is tracked centrally. Third, there is a lot of construction going on for completing the third line between Rajnandgaon and Nagpur.

संदीप भाई हमारा तो रोज का रोना है ,,, बहुत परेशानी है इस secr जोन में ,,, खासकर bilaspur के आसपास तो ट्रेन को इतना रुलाता है ,, पूछो मत | 30, 40 km की दुरी कई बार 3,4 घन्टे में पूरी होती है | मैं कोरबा में रहता हूँ तो यहाँ तो और बुरा हाल है , यहाँ ऐसा लगता है जैसे ट्रेन मज़बूरी में चल रही है ,, कोई बड़ा आन्दोलन होना चाहिए | बहुत तमाशा हो गया है,,

Indian railway need luggage limit. Goods ranging from 40 kg to 70 kg can be kept in the train compartment rule is not working.I have seen passenger travelling with window AC,Cooler,fan,table.chairs and most common large LED TVs etc.

Food was so-so as well this time but great in 2019. Not sure why they can’t give priority to a train like Rajdhani!!

SECR destroys the punchuality of every train since 1 year. Trains which are know for their puchuality are now frustrating the passengers daily. This late story is not fir one day but this story is happening daily. Like amarkantak express most preferred train of its route now comes delayed by 2 to 3 hours daily. Chattisgarh express, bikaner bilaspur, etc. Itwari bilaspur and sivnath express are sometimes late by 5 to 10 hours

I used to travel pune bsp and this is quite normal, while approaching bsp always stuck in outer. I believe you already know coal shortage and freight train priority in this section. Plan is to divert bsp jn traffic to usalapur

Sabhi tarah ki trains hain iss route pe...anyways population blast hua hai pichle 20 saal me aur tracks badhaana possible nahi poore route me... SECR zone bsp is one of the highest income railway zone in India... Iss zone me coal transport trains bahut jyda traffic rehta hai... Covid se pahle hi ye problem thi timing ko lekar but after covid it become worst 😔

This train always gets delayed between Raipur and Bilaspur, even if it leaves on time from Raipur. One reason for this is that this train is maintained by NR even though it is “Bilaspur Rajdhani”. I’ve seen trains from other divisions get similar treatment at Bilaspur too.

Bilaspur Divison ka haal ye hai ki, mjhe pune jana hai Raipur se may k mahine me, or wahan se 5 hr k difference k baad connecting train milegi, but maine direct train option Azad hind ko opt nahi kiya, kyunki bsp division ate se uska haal passenger se bura ho jata hai or mjhe pura vishwas hai ki azad hind se gya th definetly connecting train miss hogi isley maine journey break krke krne ka decision liya hai or Raipur se phele NGP jake wahan se garibrath. Ye th humara bharosa hai BSP division pe.

bhai kolkata mumbai main line hai yeh jisme bilaspur aata hai iss route par trains zyda late nahi hoti but iss tym jab aap travel kar rahe tab new line laga rahe hai toh isi karan sab trains late ja rahi thi or zydatar trains north wali late hoti winter mei bcz of fogs and all but normal sabhi trains time par he chalti hai
