Journey into Imagination with Figment - A Virtual Recreation

Journey into Imagination with Figment is a dark ride at EPCOT (Walt Disney World Orlando). Guests board a vehicle for a special drive-through "open house" tour of the Imagination Institute, their host is chairman Dr. Nigel Channing (played in the attraction by Eric Idle).
This is a detailed recreation of the Disney attraction. We did the animated models in SketchUp and Blender, the ride uses a custom-made ride track and vehicles. To achieve source-like quality we also recreated the complete soundtrack, featuring the well-known tune by the Sherman Brothers (arranged for the ride by George Wilkins). Sound effects were partially sourced from Pixabay. Kudos to the creators of the original attraction.
Once finished the set will be available as a free download, so you can let your imagination "run wild" in Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. And since many EPCOT fans love the first incarnation of this ride we´re also working on a recreation of the original feat. Dreamfinder!
