Can Electroverse cope with pre-warning the driver to precondition the battery at a suitable distance from the charger (based on the car model you drive) and adjust the battery SOC and charging times to reflect the extra power loss from preconditioning?

Hey Kevin, great question! The way Electroverse works, it doesn't integrate with live vehicle data yet. The base software will take into account ambient temperature, and it builds in a buffer, so battery pre-conditioning can take place and not effect the outcome of your journey.

I wasn’t expecting full integration but (a) choose own vehicle, (b) use manufacturers data to calculate when to precondition prior to the Electroverse route planner, (c) use manufacturers data to estimate the extra load on the battery and then (d) update planned charge stops and time to charge. Simple for Octopus as it’s standard data / calculations rather than “my vehicle” integration.

Nice video. Next time if you can improve the quality of your mic would be better. Also for mobile device the presentation is too small. Maybe closing the camera can increase the presentation view. Thanks

might be right, rather than a 50:50 view have a large window for the presentation and the presenter view be a small square in the corner of it. as beautiful as Charlie is, if we cant read or see owt on the presentation display his lucious locks are lost on us.

Very informative, thanks. The search on the app could do with tweaking. I set it to find Electroverse only on the route planner but it kept throwing up chargers which have not yet partnered with Electroverse. It also doesn't show the price per KwH.

I have a model x and have added my ev on the app But have also purchased the ccs adaptor is there anyway to add this? As currently it only has the car as being able to charge on type 2 and 3 pin
