Thanks for sharing your nicely taken video of Journey--I love it ! ***The sound of Journey songs that are TIMELESS--- it does not matter who sings it !! BUT ----Journey is lucky to have found AP as their frontman! P has that tenor unique masculine voice that has a natural rasp that makes it amazing !! He masters the song perfectly and is able to sing like in-studio recording while he is doing Concerts on LIVE---night after night !!! AP"s vocal versatility, talent, and unbelievable energy are the fuel that keeps the Journey Concert rocking for many years !! I lived through SP years --but he left Journey, band, for 30 years now..!!! Now, with AP around and delivering Journey amazingly well songs to maintain Journey's legacy-- why not? After all, AP is doing incredibly well- when I saw him on LIVE Concerts !! ******* For Bashers***** Some Bashers who are still hoping for SP's comeback---should understand that SP publicly claimed that he is NOT rejoining Journey ( even though AP publicly claimed that he would STEP BACK if SP rejoins Journey--BUT SP said NO in many of his 2018 Interviews.. SP plays SOLO now. **With NO one keeping Journey's legacy and NO songs around on shows---- maybe the song will be forgotten, same with the band that goes along with it---( as it happened to other popular songs in music history ! ) I think AP is not imitating SP-- he was just hired to sing Journey songs as it is--- I saw the documentary! So, for a handful of bashers out there that want AP to fail- even from the very beginning! --Neal Schon and J Cain are NOT stupid to get a new frontman just to please a handful of bashers out there who some of them may be racists!!!! There are millions of people "around the world "that Journey had performed with AP-- loves and accepted AP and wish to see AP again on LIVE Concerts !! * To get another steady frontman may take years--- at that time, maybe there's no more Journey at all !! SP even acknowledged & thanked AP ( see SP Speech during 2017 Rock Music Hall of Fame) *******Here's a Quote from SP..see below****** >>"I must give a complete shout-out to someone who sings his heart out every night, and it's Arnel Pineda. Where are you, Arnel? Where are you? He must be backstage. To Arnel, I love you. Woooo! Hi Arnel! Thank you." >>**** ( Quote from SP, Rock Hall of fame 2017 )***** SP does not hate AP-, and AP idolizes SP ! -- in fact, the 2 singers are on good terms. !! So give PEACE a chance !! STOP the Hate!. It's a waste of time and effort,..it's NOT even worth it! Journey has been a Cover Band Since 2007. Journeys albums with AP, doesn't even get Radio Airplay, that tells me all I need to know....... Journey should have have hung it up 15 years ago

why should SP Hate AP, Steve Perry since 2007 He has made Millions of Dollars. When they went on separate ways, they had an Agreement on everything, Concerts and including merchandise He has made a lot of money for having AP sing his songs why he should hate him. He loves him. and now I can say love will survive.

I think it matters a lot who sings it. But, the Arnel Pineda acquisition fits the bill just perfectly. Don't get me wrong-- if I could still see Steve Perry on that stage, I'd be delighted. But, that wasn't going to happen. Were so fortunate to have Arnel to carry on the legend of Journey. BTW, this was always going to be a very good song. But, cheers to Journey and lead guitarists who maintained that lead solo part so perfectly. Both the vocals and the guitar solo combine to make it the ultimate experience. My gratitude goes to all.

Hey everyone. I live in England, after not touring over here for something like 20 years plus. I saw Journey in Birmingham NIA with Jeff Soto on vocals. Apart from bad acoustics, bad sound, distorted bass, and Soto throwing the microphone around and missing the first words from pretty much everything , it was STILL bloody aweful, and ranks in my top 5 worst concerts. Even Neil said at the backstage area. Sorry it was poor when I asked him" what was that ?". Having Arnel on vocals, and a tight group in general, how I wish he'd have been on the mic that night.
