Recently I saw an advertisement for comedy course by Biswa. Honestly speaking, Biswa might be a great comedian but I know many like me who just find him average...just like the rest of these comedians. They all seem to have the same content. I find Hoezay to have a great humour sense and also enjoy Rahul Subramanian's jokes on corporate life because I can relate with it a lot.

A lot of these comedians are very average. Biswa, Kenny, etc. got in the limelight because they had the first-movers advantage when it comes to mass popularity. I found both Biswa's and Kenny's specials very cringeworthy and couldn't finish watching them. There are only a handful of genuinely funny comedians that have their unique style and are yet still very humorous -- José, Neville, etc. to name a few. I would say the best comedians in India right now are the ones that are not mainstream.
