The beautiful green heaven of Suravali has now been chopped off, with poles taking the place of trees, making it look like just any other section anywhere else in the country. Here's a short clip from last year when fortunately I managed to record the short journey from Madgaon to Suravali on board the Kulem-Vasco Passenger, followed by its departure from Suravali. Another fortunate thing was we got the now-rare original-cab WDP4 in LHF mode. Perfection.

This brings back magical memories. As a kid I was always fascinated with trains, especially Electric Locos. One of my most memorable journeys was on Maharashtra Exp, from Pune to Malkapur my fathers place (and sometimes till Jalgaon for my mom's place). Back in 90s Maharashtra would pull into Pune junction at around 10:30 pm we would be excitedly waiting for that WDM 2 to power through for a stop on PF3/4. I would always complain to my father why Maharashtra never came with Electric Loco, back then I liked them more. We would excitedly get in, me jumping right to the top berth all smiling ear to ear ! Loco would change direction and off we would go around 10:45 towards Daund, mother would always scold for me not sleeping on time, but my face was glued to the windows feeling the night breeze and the lulling sound of the coaches and the rails. Daund was another reversal and Maharashtra takes Manmad's direction, then Ahemednagar came at 2 am, I would be off to sleep before then. Once though father mentioned that the 2 Maharashtras crossed at Ahemednagar, and for the next trip I stayed wide awake to witness it. Early in the morning at 4/5 bustling Manmad junction would welcome us with chai and coffee and fresh smell of the brakes! Here Maharashtra would finally get a WAG 5 or WAM 4 at its head and off we would go, I could just listen to its wonderful horns forever. Sunrise would happen just around Chalisgaon and we would get a first glimpse at the loco on turns. Then Jalgaon at 8:30 am we would have tea and breakfast and finally Malkapur at 11:30 am. Cousins would come to pick us up and then began the vacations... As time passed, we grew up and life took a different direction, now all these are but magical memories ! Thank you !

भाई तुमने कैमरा अंदर से शूट कर रहे हो आप कैमरा बाहर निकाल कर शूट करते जिस डायरेक्शन में ट्रेन चल रही थी मतलब लंबाई में जिसमें ट्रैक दिख सके कितनी लंबाई में जा रही है
